I'll be very surprised if Trump is nominated. There's a big bloc of Dumb republicans who support the Establishment every 4 years. They actually read the WaPo/NYT editorials and vote for the Liberals favorite Republican.
They'd rather lose with someone "safe" and "respectable" than win with someone who might be "extreme". Y'know - like Reagan.
I think Trump will blow it when he calls the wrong shot which he's bound to do because he relies so much on instinct. For example, he has already irreversibly alienated a quarter of the voting population (democratic women); he could easily blow off another quarter by attacking Fiorina too quickly.

It's a few months until the primaries, and a year and a few months until the election.
I think we should keep hearing Trump out.
No need to make any decisions now, and he's bringing some issues to the forum that nobody else can or will .
