"Some People Just Don't Belong"- Caddyshack
I love Alexis. And he was spot on about American Exceptionalism. Of course he understood that the great tripping stone for America was the potential tyranny of the majority. But he also saw the tremendous potential for explosive inventive growth in the unleashing of the hoi polloi. Something his European peers continue to fight to this day.
He did the same thing with England, traveled there and analyzed it then wrote Memoir on Pauperism. He did the same thing with Algeria and wrote Travail sur l'Algérie. His description of pre-famine Ireland are the best there are. He wrote Journeys to England and Ireland. His also wrote recollections, and a whole bunch of stuff about France. He was super serial politically and very ass toot.
Alexis blows smoke rings around the competition.(Alexis does not run. Anywhere. The chair is there for a reason. Idiots.)
lol Amartel. Nicely done Chip.
Does Alexis de Tocqueville know that pot sale are legal in Oregon today?
