Do you the way to San Jose?

Did you have a problem getting to Lem's Levity? I don't know if they took us off the google search engine. I used to put the name of the blog in and it had a listing of the blog along with the three most popular posts. Now it only lists those post separately. I think that makes it a lot harder for people to find us if it is not bookmarked.  I think it is a type of shadow banning. I don't know if there have been a lot of complaints or that we (mainly me) use words and images that are banned by the Google police. It just seems odd.

Any time they make it harder to find us makes our viewership go down. I am not big on analytics. I just type and let fly and let the chips fall where they may. I just want to make it easy to get to us. So if you are a casual reader or just a lurker please bookmark us so we can see you on a regular basis.

A Word to the Wives (1955)

For the ladies!

Why are people so stupid?

Look at this idiot taking a selfie in a hurricane in Louisiana. I mean how stupid can you be?

They are preparing for a big disaster down there. A friend of ours in Mobile Alabama is really battening down the hatches. We just had a pretend hurricane up here. Hurricane Henri. I thought it was a big bunch of bullshit but the wife hade me bring in all the lawn furniture and the flower pots and generally act like the world was coming to an end. I keep telling her that Sandy was a once in a hundred years occurrence and we had about eighty five years until it came back but she wouldn't listen. The news media just hypes it up since we don't have honest weathermen like Tex Antione anymore. He told it like it is.

Still you should never forget:

Distraught Mom tells the truth about Biden and his voters!

New York Post: The mother of a US Marine killed in Thursday’s terror bombing outside Kabul’s airport claimed that Americans who voted for President Biden “just killed my son.”

Kathy McCollum, whose 20-year-old son, Rylee, was among 13 US service members killed in the attack, told SiriusXM talk show host Andrew Wilkow on “The Wilkow Majority” show that she blamed the “dementia-ridden” president for his death, Newsweek reported.

“Twenty years and six-months-old, getting ready to go home from freaking Jordan to be home with his wife to watch the birth of his son, and that feckless, dementia-ridden piece of crap just sent my son to die,” she told Wilkow.

“I woke up at 4 o’clock this morning,” McCollum said. “Two Marines at my door telling me that my son was dead.

“I just want all you Democrats who cheated in the election, or who voted for him legitimately, you just killed my son,” she claimed. “With a dementia-ridden piece of crap who doesn’t even know he’s in the White House, who still thinks he’s a senator."

It's time for truth telling. If only the Republican politicians would do the same. Not fringe actors like Marjorie Taylor Greene or Mat Gaetz but the leaders like that slime ball McConnell or that weasel McCarthy. They need to step up and start impeachment hearings. Or demand that they exercise the 25th amendment like they did all the time with Trump. There is no excuse for them anymore. They have to end the kabuki failure theater or we need to run them out of office. They are worse then the Democrats. They at least have the excuse that they are Communists and agree with Biden.

Something has to change. It is sick out there and getting sicker.

Ohhhh Mr Grant you have to put the food back...

"Ohhh Mr. Grant you have to put the food back."

"Why Mary?"

"Because there are only six servings. If you eat that three people don't eat!"

"Really. Is that why?"

"Well also you are dead. So you don't need it. Besides communists should share. Isn't that what being a commie pinko fuck is all about?"

Iraq and a Hard Place (apologies to the Zucker brothers)

We have struck back at the Tolly Bahn and killed a couple of guys, according to the Deep State. Supposedly, they're high value targets, but we're not allowed to know who they were.

It may be some valuable intel was used to nail these guys, but I have the distinct feeling Omar and the sheriff were just standing on the wrong street corner at the worst possible time.

Idiot Boy tells us he "expects US assets" to do more killing. I thought the reason he handed the country over to the bad guys was that he didn't want any more Americans dying there; of course the last ones were 2 years ago. Now spec ops has to go in and kill some guy so Deep State can say we now have Peace With Honor.

But we don't. Just ask Marine Lt Col Stuart Scheller who laid into the entire chain of command over what happened. He was relieved of command.

So much for Semper Fi. We have too many Milleys and nowhere enough Schellers and I'm talking every branch. There was no air cover because Idiot was afraid of another Blackhawk Down

The Eminent Mr Surber opined that, if the crazies pull another 9/11, it just might perk up the lying dogfaced pony soldier's subterranean approval because that's what happened to Dubya.

And, if you buy that one, I have a bridge in Brooklyn real cheap. One careful owner. Very low mileage.

But Dubya hadn't just given away the store to the bad guys.

Of course, a not so low yield thermonucular device detonated at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave by the looney tunes might unite the country, but I doubt the Demos will like the outcome. We know the crazies have used every opportunity to sneak people into the country, but Trump's one shot, one kill policy seemed to have put an end to that.

Consumer prices went up 3.6% last month. The illegals are being stacked like mattresses in TX and CA. The Whigs might (or might not) oppose the "infrastructure" bill, and people are starting to realize the Demos can't allow an honest election in '22.

Nor will impeaching FICUS help. That just opens the door to Chlamydia, then the Ice Cream Queen.

And, after that Patrick Leahy, Antony Blinken, Janet Yellen, Lloyd Austin, Merrick Garland, Deb Haaland, Tom Vilsack, Gina Raimondo, Marty Walsh, Xavier Becerra, Marcia Fudge, Pete Buttigieg, Jennifer Granholm, Miguel Cardona, Denis McDonough, Alejandro Mayorkas,

You trust any of these mental midgets?

Living with this becomes less and less viable.

Discuss among yourselves.

Hit Me With Your Best Shot ……err needle.

Jibber jab me!

Well I finally bit the bullet and got the jab. I waited until they worked most of the kinks out. We went fot the Johnson and Johnson since it was only one needle and we were told by our doctor that it had the least side effects and were the best for anyone who had an allegry.

Now there is no way I was going to a CVS where some clerk would take time out from sticking his finger up his nose to give a shot. The hospital had set up an injection site about four blocks from me across the road from the hospital so if something went wrong we could be at the emergency room toot suite. There were several nurses and a doctor around so there was full coverage.

We went into a cubicle and met the nurse who was giving out the dose. She said "What arm do you want it in?" I replied "Yours."

RIP the Rangers greatest player

Rod Gilbert who was the greatest Ranger of all time has passed. There might be bigger stars who played for the Rangers like Mark Messier and Wayne Gretzky. But for a hockey fan of a certain age like me it was all about the great Rod Gilbert.

When I was kid in the sixties there were only a few hockey teams. So you could follow the sport in between watching football and baseball. The Rangers had a decent team. They had the great goalie Eddie Giacomin and his back up Gilles Villemure. The hard nosed Vic Hadfield. The always elegant Jean Ratelle. Glen Stather and Pete Stemkowski. The unpronounceable Walt Tkaczuk. All the flotsam and jetsom that Marv Albert would talk about when the Rangers played. I went to a couple dozen games in those days. Tickets were not hard to get. The Rangers were often out of contention. But they still were a lot of fun.

Rod lived to be 80. He had a good run. He was always a very classy guy. Never a scandal or a bad word. The kind of guy people would point to as a role model. I always really admired him and I thought of him as Mr. Ranger.

RIP Rod. You did good.

Dog days

Andrew Cuomo never fails to be a douchebag. I am sure you saw the story where he abandoned his dog when he was being evicted from the governors mansion. Much like Biden and Obama he got a dog to "Humanize" him and act like he was a recognizable human being. He never cared about the dog. He never worked at training it. It bit people and generally terrorized his staff. The dog was part German Shepard and part Alaskan sled dog which is a bad combo as it was both very aggressive and very strong. A staffer brought it home and brought it back after a couple of days. Shelters across the state have said they would take it and retrain it and find a family that would give it the attention that the dog deserves. It really is a joke.

Oh by the way Andrew has my email. He sent me a letter to reassure me after he resigned. Here is a sample:

Dear James,

Tonight, as you may be aware, I am stepping down as Governor of New York at 11:59pm. Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul will become governor, and we all wish her success. So I want to send my final note to you as governor.

New York's future is based on what we have accomplished together, and during my tenure we've shown that New York has a spirit that reaches for the skies. We have worked to make New York the progressive capital of the nation. From passing Marriage Equality and the $15 minimum wage to enacting Paid Family Leave and the NY SAFE Act, from building new bridges and airports to combating climate change, from fighting against hate to fighting COVID—together we did what no one thought could be done.

We didn't get everything done that we wanted to, and we didn't always get it quite right, but I want you to know, from the bottom of my heart, that every day I worked my hardest, I gave it my all, to deliver for you. Thank you for empowering me to fight for you. Thank you for your trust in me through COVID. Thank you for the honor of serving you.

I didn't know that he cared. He had to send my a personal message to praise himself before resigning before he was impeached. The arrogance and effrontery is off the charts.

They used to say if you wanted a friend in politics buy a dog.

Even that didn't work for this strunz.

Salami....Salami....Baloney!

What Bugs Bunny used to say when he met a big shot when he was dressed as an Indian Swami.

In an article in the New York Post it was announced that a salmonella outbreak has hit 17 states due to "Italian meats" that were infected

“Italian-style meats include salami, prosciutto and other meats that can often be found in antipasto or charcuterie assortments. Heating food to a high enough temperature helps kill germs like Salmonella,”

They recommend heating the meat to a temperature of 165 degrees or until they are steaming hot. Which would most likely ruin the meat but what do they care. I eat this type of meat every day and have not had any bad side effects. I think it is the typical nonsense purveyed by the government I bet they want you to wear a mask when you are eating a salami sandwich.

However that is not the truly disturbing news in this article. "This past May, the CDC warned poultry farmers to stop hugging their chickens as it led to a salmonella outbreak. Don’t kiss or snuggle backyard poultry, and don’t eat or drink around them,” the CDC explained at the time. This can spread Salmonella germs to your mouth and make you sick.”

Rh Hardin hardest hit.

Got any Grapes of Wrath?

On Grapes of Wrath and Wonder

Following recent mention of sour grapes, a bout of doxing, and edutcher’s observations on current political clusters, the phrase “grapes of wrath”  came to mind.  And I wondered what it referred to or meant?  “An unjust or oppressive situation, action or policy that may inflame a desire for revenge”  was the first explanation/definition to come up online, ahead of other references to a song, a book title, and a verse from the Bible, which all appear to have come beforehand and been behind that summation, giving shape to the meaning it holds today.

The kickoff goes back to one of the visions received by the apostle John and recorded in the book of Revelation around 96 AD/CE.  It involves a brief, unadorned, single sentence description of an angel swinging a sickle on the earth, gathering its harvest of grapes and throwing them into “the great winepress of God’s wrath”.

A thousand years or more down the road (tracking as far back as 1103 and on into the 18th century),  a host of  iconographers inspired by that allusion began envisioning  and writing icons depicting Christ in the Winepress.  Two different scenarios were preserved in paint for present moment “gazing” and posterity:  One reveals the Christ figure standing in the winepress along with the grapes about to be crushed,  and the other has him taking the place of the grapes, with his blood pouring out as wine.

Further down the road, the Revelation reference also caught Julia Howe’s attention, long enough for her to envision a slightly altered version and enshrine it within the Civil War Battle Hymn she wrote in 1861, in this now-familiar and oft sung line from the first verse:  “ He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored”.  As her story goes, after hearing of a need for new lyrics for the fight song the men had been singing she “ went to bed that night as usual, and slept, according to my wont, quite soundly. I awoke in the gray of the morning twilight; and as I lay waiting for the dawn, the long lines of the desired poem began to twine themselves in my mind. Having thought out all the stanzas, I said to myself, "I must get up and write these verses down, lest I fall asleep again and forget them." So, with a sudden effort, I sprang out of bed, and found in the dimness an old stump of a pencil which I remembered to have used the day before. I scrawled the verses almost without looking at the paper".

Hearing those scrawled words, first published in the Atlantic, publicly sung by others years later, led Steinbeck’s wife to suggest Grapes of Wrath to him in 1938, as a fitting title for the book he was finishing, according to the following story: As is well-known, it was Carol Henning, Steinbeck’s wife, who provided the almost-finished novel with its title, drawn, of course, from Julia Ward Howe’s “Battle Hymn of the Republic.” As Steinbeck reported in his journal for September 3, 1938, “Carol got the title last night…The book has being at last.” But what was the “being” the novel had achieved…? The story proceeds: because Steinbeck had already destroyed a 70,000-word draft of an earlier version in which California growers were polemically attacked, he was very sensitive to the political meaning of the new version and decided that one way to avoid the charge of radicalism, foreign-inspired propaganda was (almost literally) to wrap the book in the flag by insisting that the words and music of “Battle Hymn of the Republic” be printed in the endpapers. In fact, when the first proof was returned by his editor with only one verse [of the song] as prologue, Steinbeck wrote back “I meant to print all, all, all the verses of the Battle Hymn. They’re all pertinent and they’re all exciting. And the music too.”

A quirky video side trip in the 1990’s reveals another somewhat popular at the time but less well-known image of the Grapes of Wrath set to song in a Veggie Tales cartoon presentation entitled  “God Wants Me to Forgive Them!?!”.  It features a different visual and perceptual twist in “two stories about forgiveness, the first a parody loosely based on "The Grapes of Wrath" by Steinbeck, and the second  a parody of the 1960s sitcom, Gilligan's Island.”

Nothing new under the sun it seems. The idea of an envisioned grape harvest, preserved in writing two thousand years ago, ripening over time to invite others to swing their sickles or press their perceptions of that scene into use and service, intrigues me.  As does the present day definition, which appears to fit what I perceive to be growing and forming in our culture today, along with a strong sense of more pressing and change about to take place.

What is the main difference between wrath and anger?   “Anger is a strong feeling of annoyance, displeasure, or hostility, while wrath is the extreme form of anger,...once anger escalates from emotion to action, it turns into wrath.”

Where's the wonder in the grape connections mentioned above?  They all appear to involve vision, imagination, intuition (and a dose of humor?) to meet needs or move things forward.   Which makes me wonder where or when you might have recently encountered or experienced something similar that gave you pause, affirmed a conviction, invited awareness or offered hope?

Managing narratives has (totally) replaced actually solving pressing problems. It's now impossible in America to actually address pressing problems without stepping on the toes of one politically powerful and politically sacrosanct cartel or another, and so problems fester and multiply to the point they cannot be solved within the status quo, regardless of how many trillions are conjured and squandered.

To mask the coming collapse, narratives must be tightly controlled. Since collapse can't be forestalled without making powerful enemies, the only politically expedient option left is to eliminate any dissent that questions the officially sanctioned happy stories (lies).

When a society and a state give up the search for solutions because real solutions will negatively impact politically powerful cartels, collapse is only one step away. It's all fun and games in the unwinnable wars and simulacra reforms stage, but managing narratives isn't the same as managing the real world, and the real world eventually crushes the happy-story narratives and those who actually believed them.

That was 4 or 5 days ago!

The words of our fearless (feckless?) leader when confronted with the reality of Afghans so desperate to get out of their country they tried clinging  the landing gear of a US transport a la Ahnold in Commando. Unlike the Schwarz, they didn't make it.

This presents a difficult problem for the Democrats, as the lying dogfaced pony soldier is of a part with Zippy, bragging about how many people he's killed via drone, the Hildabeast telling us the deaths of 4 embassy personnel really don't matter at this point, and more than a few fellow party members betraying their lack of concern about the value of American lives.. He was supposed to be decent and credible and... a Catholic, as opposed to Trump who actually got things done.

Insty has linked a long article telling us mostly what we already know. To wit, he’s overcompensating for an intellectual inferiority complex and a man who behaves as if he knows much more than he does, who has far too much confidence in his own judgment in the face of contrary advice from experts.

Since he got the nod last year, we've been treated to the occasional glimpse into his (I use the word loosely) mind. He has told us on several occasions about how he is a stand up guy because of all the smart guys who look down their noses at people like him. Trump, of course, being at the top of the list. That he never asked himself why that happened is a mystery, but it may explain why I have a feeling he really did reach this momentous flight into the Twilight Zone.

The Gray Lady has been insisting how our woke military brass tried to tell him this was a really bad idea and he refused to listen. I'm betting somebody tripped his switch with some otherwise inconsequential remark (remember Senator Ma'am?) or maybe exasperation flickered across some bird colonel's face and he took offense.

So, to the surprise of absolutely no one, the Demos picked a couple of morons who could take orders (reminiscent of an old Hogan's Heroes episode). After bragging how she gave him the final push to go ahead, Chlamydia is now off to the far end of the world. specifically, Hanoi (talk about your bad timing) to get as far from this as she can. I wish her luck on that one.

What's interesting is how the Demos intend to get out of this because even Fake News isn't covering for them. Talk of the 25th Amendment has been raised, but that would mean Chlamydia would be lost as the tie-breaker in the Senate.

And forget impeachment. AFAIK, this breaks no law. Although that never stopped Pelosi Galore.

No, I'm betting on another Amendment, created on January 1, 2015.

The Harry Reid Amendment.

With a party awash in superannuated drones well past their sell by dates and idiot ideologues who couldn't be trusted with a kid's lemonade stand who have created a domestic mess of inflation, crime, illegals, and lousy education, a housecleaning is vital.

It's a little like Ghostbusters (the good one). In the scene where the guys confront the mayor about what's really happening, Peter Venkman reminds Hizzoner, if they can stop it, "Lenny, you will have saved the lives of millions of registered voters". The Cardinal smiles, nods his head, everybody agrees, and Walter Peck is shown the door.

There's a poll out that says 10% of Demos regret voting for him and 40% disapprove of his actions (my own guess it's 40% who wish they'd voted for the other guy that won and maybe 80% disapprove).

So, if I'm right, we'll see a long string of illnesses, falls, accidents, and other mishaps including wishing to spend more time with the family. I could be wrong, but somehow, I think the next few weeks and months could be interesting.

PS The other guy was asked by a woman a few weeks ago if he saw and light at the end of our tunnel. He smiled.

Right Said Fred

Wake me up before you go go.....because I think it is going to be a while!

Our piece of shit governor has said he was going to resign but has not sent in any paperwork or an official resignation letter so far. He continues to push out decrees like mandating that all Health Care workers must be vaccinated by September. Why does he think he can do that? From the New York Post:

On Monday, Andrew Cuomo announced all health care workers in the state of New York must be vaccinated by Sept. 27.

The announcement came six days after Cuomo announced he was resigning as governor, and eight days before he said he would depart the governorship.

Smack dab in the middle of packing, he simply imposed a mandate on 450,000 people that will take effect a month after his departure from the governor’s mansion. Cuomo is the lamest duck in the history of lame ducks. But he ain’t acting like one.

As a moral matter, the guy has no business making unilateral rules that are to take effect 32 days after he’s gone. But then, the guy really had no business unilaterally deciding he was going to remain governor for two weeks after his resignation.

Robert Bentley, who resigned as governor of Alabama in 2017 as part of a deal to avoid charges, was out the minute he made his announcement. Eric Greitens, who resigned as governor of Missouri in 2018 in the midst of a scandal, quit on a Tuesday and was out by Friday.

Not our Andrew. He gave the state two weeks’ notice, like he was our cleaning lady.

I think it is very possible he will try to rescind his resignation. That the press will not hold him accountable. That the New York State Legislature does not have the balls to impeach him. In any event it will drag on for weeks and months. It is going to be your typical New York State shit show.

It's sick out there and getting sicker.

I was told there would be no Dylan.....in the kids pants!

New York Post, August 11, 2021

Legendary singer and songwriter Bob Dylan plied a 12-year-old girl with drugs and alcohol before sexually abusing her at his Chelsea Hotel apartment in 1965, an explosive new lawsuit alleges.

The “Blowin’ in the Wind” musician allegedly used his star status to groom, gain the trust of and control the victim “as part of his plan to sexually molest and abuse” her, according to the Manhattan Supreme Court papers, which only identify the plaintiff as “J.C.”

“Bob Dylan, over a six-week period between April and May of 1965 befriended and established an emotional connection with the plaintiff,” say the papers, which were filed late Friday on behalf of J.C., now a 68-year-old woman in Greenwich, Conn.

The suit was filed late Friday, on the eve of the closure of the New York Child Victims’ Act look-back window. The window allowed victims of childhood abuse to file suit  against their attackers and the institutions that protected them regardless of how old the claims were and whether they had since passed beyond the statute of limitations.

No wonder that he was a big hero of moral bankrupt baby boomer types just like Woody Allen. I think it is definitely true and I hope the woman takes him to the cleaners. Just what this ultra liberal piece of shit deserves.

The ride for America with Joe Biden in charge!

It's been a while

As you might know we spent the weekend in Jersey. I wasn't looking forward to it but we had to go to a birthday party. Since is was deep in the bowels of the Garden State we had to stay over. The wife got to hang out with her friends who had been her friend since the first grade in Saint A's. The party itself was fine and then we adjourned back to the home of one of the friends where it was decided we would all meet together again at a diner for breakfast. Now that was something I could look forward to for fucks sake!

I have a new procedure when I go to a new restaurant. It is usually not one of my haunts so I have no idea about it so I look it up on Yelp. Now Yelp is just a tool and it is often wrong about a business. You just have to know how to read the reviews. What is useful is that they normally have a link to the menu so you can see what they have and what they are the most proud of and feature as their specials.

This was breakfast so we were looking at the omelet and egg category. I never get pancakes or French Toast when I am taking a long car ride as they sit in my stomach like lead. So I was trending toward eggs and I saw my absolute favorite on the menu.

I got a bacon egg and cheese on a Kaiser roll with home fries, Back  in the day I would have a bacon cheese and egg every day for breakfast. Nothing is better with a good cup of coffee. This one was fine. I mean it wasn't the worst and it wasn't the best.  The roll was fresh and the bacon was crispy. The cheese wasn't that great so it threw it off from great to good. Still and all I enjoyed the fuck out of it.

The one thing that made me flinch was something I noticed on the menu. No meatloaf and mashed potatoes. What kind of freaking diner doesn't have meatloaf and mashed potato? I always order that when I am in a diner. I would have ordered it for breakfast. That's how you can tell if it is a great diner. If it has great meatloaf. I was very disappointed I must say.

But as the great Phil Leotardo said in the Sopranos when discussing the Jersey crew "Jersey, eh get the fuck out here."

Meet the new disaster....same as the old disaster

So we get to see images of Americans fleeing their embassy as the poor saps who aided us in subjugating their country cling to the helicopter struts to try to escape. I have seen this movie before. The pity of it was that it is all so avoidable.

Once the last dog dies there will time to play the blame game. People blame Biden. Or Trump. Or Bush for that matter. The real blame belongs to a much more sacred cow. The United States Miliraty.

We had twenty years to get it right. Instead of working with the grunts on the ground we listened to the political generals, the CIA and the Deep State. They are wrong as usual as Ed pointed out in his post. They have pretty much been wrong about everything since World War Two. We have  no business in Afghanistan. It has been the meat grinder of armies since the days of Alexander the Great. Our military in relative terms is far inferior to that of Alexander. I know our leadership is for sure.

We need to listen to the grunts on the ground. That's who I support. Not the political generals who are more worried about trans rights, white rage and implementing critical race theory. You know who I would have put in charge? That Navy Seal they tried to prosecute for shooting Taliban terrorists or the Green Beret who beat down the Afghan police chief who was raping young boys. They know how corrupt that shithole country was. If we sent in our boys we should have just killed the enemy and then left them to fight it out. Not nation build. Take whatever the Neocons and Cheney and the rest of the chorus had to say and do the exact opposite.

If Trump or another populist gets in they have to decapitate the entire officer corp. All of them. Promote sergeants and corporals to the top positions. Guys who know what it is to be their with their asses on the line. Bust up the Deep State before they get us in another forever war. Because if they do we will lose and we will feel it this time because it will come home to roost.

America first. Fuck the rest of the world.

Don't underestimate Joe's ability to fu(k things up

They're losing their gourds over at Insty, wringing their Libertarian hands over what's happening in A-stan and how they can't do anything about it.

Or something like that.

Frankly, I think a lot of people are taking the short view, so let's take a look at where things stand.

First, the country between everybody's here and there has been off the radar for a very long time. Add to that the fact August has a couple more weeks to go and, unless the wife is putting out the cold shoulder or it's raining in vaca land, not too many people are glued to the news (what do you think this is, 1956?)

Second, all the predictions of Shih trying a little something against Nationalist China seems a bit far-fetched. Granted, he might be tempted to wag the dog, things in Old Cathay being absolutely ghastly right now, but he really doesn't need anything else to go wrong, what with his artificial islands sinking, countries urging their businesses into leaving the kingdom faster than Democrats out of Kabul, the Philippines and Australia giving him a hard time, a real estate crunch looking very likely, and the fact Inja just kicked the PLA's ass add up to a ton of reasons why the Chinese may be looking at another way of doing business.

One of the countries leaving Red China, of course, is Japan, which has been building itself back up militarily. When you start hearing about Nipponese carriers with names like Soryu, you know the guys behind the Mitsubishis are probably serious.

Third, this one ain't Saigon, mostly because of my first argument. Everybody knew then it wouldn't be the end of the US of A, although Fake News was having fun blaming it on the recently departed Richard Nixon. We haven't heard a casualty count from the Silk Road in a couple of years, if that recently. And, like 'Nam, we didn't lose this. The Demos threw it away and I'm betting even they couldn't tell you exactly why.

No, this has to do with the title of this piece. All this is FICUS (Fraud In Chief of the US) doing to A-stan what Zippy wanted done to Iraq. And, remember, the lying dogfaced pony soldier was the one tapped for that little exit. This is a Democrat's doing and it would appear even the Lefties are concerned; so much so Commie News Net is taking him to task.

This is the bill for the party they've been having since 11/3 coming due. They've been making threats and passing laws to destroy the country and anybody who doesn't like the mask or the shot*. Unless we can find somebody who told him to do this, it's what happens when you have a blithering idiot, slowly succumbing to dementia, with a lifelong obsession to show the "smart guys" who've been looking down their noses at him as long as he can remember the kind of big things he can do.

So the Demos are stuck with him. Not only does he not show any signs of walking on stage nude, they can't do the 25th Amendment because (are you ready?) Chlamydia has bragged she had a key role in the decision and Pelosi Galore thinks he ought to be "commended". That's 1, 2, and 3 in line for the top spot proclaiming what idiots they are. And they can't wait to try to grab a little credit for what is universally regarded as both the nadir and zenith of idiocy and misfeasance in government

Back in WWII, in the CBI, they had a description for a man who'd come to the end of his rope - exhaustion, disease, combat fatigue, etc. - AOE. Accumulation of Everything and it's coming to an American people near you.

And the event that everyone will point to as the one that crystallized it in their minds I'm betting is this one.

I just hope that, somewhere, in those green pastures, Ashli Babbitt, Rosanne Boyland, Benjamin Phillips, and Kevin Greeson are having a laugh with Smith, Stevens, Woods, and Doherty over all this.

Lord knows they paid for it.

-NOT TODAY! It's Poppin!

Dogs

Today I saw a dog named Rollo, a Chocolate Lab and one dog that was Black and White - three dogs, all very sweet.

Since I have His Holiness' blessing (no, not Frank's), I return to offer a few news items to those who think they can weather the current clown car by ignoring it.

As the old line goes, just because you're not interested in them doesn't mean they're not interested in you.

Let's start off with the revelation that Commie News Net has compared the lying dogfaced pony soldier's bug-out from A-stan to Neville Chamberlain. Mind you, even Fake news is talking about how many people hate Chlamydia and how he's underwater, approval-wise.

So who comes next, Pelosi Galore? She's hated more than they are.

That's enough on the incompetence front, let's talk about the Faux Joe Plague.

Did you know the Demos are really going bonkers over how many people aren't vaxxed?

Did you know The Lefties are talking denying medical care to those without a shot cert?

Did you see Bill Gates smile when it was suggested Social Security be denied to those without the shot?

Have you heard how the Army is looking for Internment/Resettlement Specialists for an official category of detained person called “civilian internee”? A Department of Defense Directive made it clear that military detainees can be U.S. citizens.

Welcome to Dachau-on-the-Brazos.

And you thought I was kidding all those years.

Some may be "over" him and some may still hear their heart go pitty-pat when they think of one of Chuckie Schmer's Republicans and hate the guy who did win, but it's looking more and more like you better hope the word, reinstatement, is in your future.

I will be away for a day or two

I am off to a party on the weekend in New Fucking Jersey so I hope some of youse guys will put up a post or two. Especially ed as we need some political content and he specializes in that.

All of the wife's friends are celebrating a big birthday this year so there are a bunch of big parties we have to go to and this is the first of them.

Unless I get real lucky and the nation goes into lockdown.

Anyhoo talk amongst yourselves and enjoy the weekend.

The names were changed to protect the guilty

When I was a kid we always listened to WINS the all news station to get the traffic report whenever we were going somewhere. They always said the same thing. Heavy traffic on the Belt Parkway. Congestion on the GW Bridge. Bumper to bumper all the way to the Tappan Zee.

The Tappan Zee Bridge was over the Hudson on the way upstate. They should have called it the scary bridge. You see it was very low. You felt like you were right over the water. Bridges bother some people. My  wife hates them and is basically terrified of all of the them. The Tappan Zee is the only one that freaks me out.

That sleazeball Andrew Cuomo had the legislature rename the bridge the Mario Cuomo Bridge to honor his greaseball father the Mob Lawyer. The legislature didn't want to do it but they were all afraid of him. They are not afraid of him anymore and there is a move on to rename it the Tappan Zee. I hope they do.

Or better yet call it the Fucking Scary Bridge. Just sayn'

My cat

She looks pretty good now, but when I grabbed her off the porch of a shanty she was in rough shape:

It looks like they got Vox Day

It looks like the forces of censorship and liberalism have brought down another conservative blogger. The popular blog Vox Popoli has been shut down by blogger. When you go there this is what you get.

Vox Day is a conservative commenter, writer, book publisher and savant who has long predicted that they would shut him down someday. He was one of the leaders of the "Sad Puppies" who led the fight against liberal extremism in the publishing of science fiction. Vox Day is an extremely good sci-fi writer who has neglected his writing to lead a movement against censorship and liberal tyranny. He started a publishing house and has started an on line comic book magizine that has become quite popular. He is a no holds barred truth teller and as such must be silenced by the powers that be.

I am truly not surprised and I am sure he is not either. He always said you had to find your own means of engaging and to not participate in Facebook, Twitter or Instagram since they are liberal monoliths that will censor you. I guess that the internet provider is following suit and censoring him as well.

This bodes ill for freedom of expression all across the board.

Electric Funeral

Saw this on Facebook and thought I'd pass it along:

Total fuel consumption of U.S. airlines is approximately 19 billion gallons annually.
Total fuel consumption for mining ore for construction of electric car batteries is approximately 21 billion gallons annually.
The 21 billion gallons of fuel burned can only produce enough ore to build 250,000 electric car batteries.
The lifespan of an electric battery is 10 years and is not renewable. By 2050 these batteries will fill landfills with 50 million pounds of waste that does not break down.
I wonder if people would still believe in electric power cars, vehicles or equipment if they knew how massive the carbon emissions footprint really was?
The photovoltaic industry used to be a net consumer of energy when the big picture was considered. Economies of scale and the ultimate low cost of the key ingredient--silicon derived from silicates (sand) -- help the economies. But still, ripping the oxygen atoms from silicon atoms in sand is energy intensive as it is one of the strongest chemical bonds known.
I used to work in the carbon energy sector until it was defunded by the government and industry. The US was and still is considered the Saudi Arabia of coal. I guess the Red Chinese are waiting for mineral rights to fall far enough to snatch them up. Then we'll be truly fucked.

SOLID!

"Hi my name is Gopher and someday I will grow up to be a Republican congressman. What's your name?"

"My name is Lola."

"What do you do Lola?"

"I am a Show Girl."

"What does that mean?"

"Come up to the Lido deck and I will show you sugar."

"Solid!"

Maybe he can move to the Hotel California

That’s the place for him.

I’m at the beach….

Maybe somebody else can pick up the slack.

Don't take the Subway....because they are kneeling during the Anthem

Subway Sandwiches are revolting. Well the franchisees are since the sandwiches themselves are pretty tasty. It seems that featured noted Anti-American Soccer loser Megan Rapinoe in their ads that they pay for with Franchisee fees. These franchisees report that they are getting a backlash from people who won't patronize Subway because they use this piece of shit in their advertising. Karma is good as the US women's soccer team lost and had to settle for a bronze medal when they were heavily favored to win the gold. They managed to turn much of America against them. Just as most of the Olympic athletes have managed to turn normal Americans against the Olympics. They have expressed their contempt for our country and we are expressing our contempt or much worse our indifference. In these times of covid where so many are working from home and should be watching the ratings have taken a nosedive. As have the ratings for the NBA, NFL and MLB. The political correct stance these leagues have taken have alienate much of their hard core audience.

It's a shame that this is going to affect my favorite tuna sandwiches.

The defund the police libs are reaping the whirlwind

A woman cop was murdered in Chicago during a routine traffic stop. Officer Ella French age 29 was shot down Saturday Night by a couple of mutts who will proabaly walk based on the way justice is perverted these days. Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot went to the hospital to shed crocodile tears in the same way DeBlasio did when two cops were murdered by a Black Lives Matters activist. The cops at the hospital turned their backs on her and refused to engage. When the lying weasel mayor tried to talk to the father of the other cop who was shot he berated her and told her to get out.

Here is the story as told by the Daily Mail. You won't see it on CNN or even Fox news. You really only get coverage in foreign news sources. The corrupt mainstream press covers up these types of stories as they do the daily illustration of Biden's dementia. Here is a photo of Officer French:

She was the first officer killed this year. But most likely not the last. The criminal element feels they are free to do what they want. The cops are retiring in record numbers. Those that remain will not engage for fear of being on Youtube and attacked in their homes. The world is turning into a John Carpenter movie.

It's sick out there and getting sicker.

Markie the spot

One of the few bright spots on the dismal Chicago PD show was the performance of the great Markie Post as the mother of one of the leads. She plays the slutty Mom of Erin who was the the female lead for the first few seasons until she quit the show  Now the premise of the show was that Erin was a bad kid who came on the cops because of her relationship with Hank Voight the corrupt sergeant in charge of the intelligence squad. He was constantly competing with Markie who played the girls mother. She was a beer drinking, cigarette smoking bimbo who was hanging around bars and having a grand old time. A far cry from her virginal defense attorney on Night Court.

She was pure hotness in those days especially in her role on one of my favorite old timey shows "The Fall Guy" which also starred that great talent Heather Thomas.

I just thought she had a great career trajectory of taking the place that Sheree North used to hold in our hearts. You know what I mean. The boozy floosy at the end of the bar.  The well worn but sexy dame who comes into the bar...orders a drink...fishes in her knock off bag for a crumpled five dollar bill with lint and an old life saver stuck to it for her first cordial. Bangs a hard pack of Marlboro Red against the bar and shakes out a cig. Lights it with a match from the bowl of matches on the bar. Takes a drag and looks around to see what there was to see.

It's not like I thought about this at all. Just sayn'

Rest in peace Marci. You will be missed.
