...you knew this kid was into something really really great."Carol Kaye comments on playing bass for Brian Wilson. The bass line is hard to hear so turn it up!
The video is from "The Wrecking Crew"

Wow, my heroine.Maybe it had something to do with those boots...made for walking:
Carol Kaye is one of a large group of real women who the left wing grievance-meister feminists would never acknowledge. There is no place for accomplishment in the modern feminist canon.

A Brian Wilson biopic called "Love And Mercy", starring John Cusack is planned for 2014.
The Beach Boys are to rock music what Norman Rockwell is to art. They were too liked in their own time to be appreciated, but each passing generation values them more.
Oprah over Brian Wilson?
Maybe I shouldn't have mention it.
She is brilliant, and Brian was a genius in that he knew the importance of hiring the best. The Wrecking Crew was the best.
Well, other than that crew over at Stax/Volt. They were pretty good, too.

But she is very highly ranked in the (unofficial) Pancho Barnes Memorial All Star Girls-Who-Actually-Did-Something Team. That's a much more select group.
I remember Carol, though, I still have ta remember, her favorite thing, ya know, no matter what date we went on, she'd hafta "would ya like me to use my Beachboy pick?" Lady laughs. "So she'd depress the shit of folks" interruption "picked it up in the studio." " This one, and they're look'n a this pick, and they're look'n a this one." She was selling this shit like I couldn't believe. One little pick made this girl 100s of 1,000s of dollars."
?
She showed an historic pick and sold regular picks that had pick-glory by association of being touched by the same musician and totted in the same guitar case?
Brian was a genius. I hope the movie doesn't destroy that with a lot of made-up nonsense, but I expect that it will.
The Wrecking Crew was awesome. Their equivalent half-way across the continent was the Funk Brothers, who were the studio musicians for nearly every MoTown album from 1949 to 1972.
I don't know much about the Beach Boys. I had no idea they had a beach girl. Excellent.
...and that's just what they did.
And one'a these days these boots are gonna stomp you like a flid dar dar dar dar dar dar dar dar dar dar dar dar dar dar dar doom dippy doom doom doom dippy doom doom doom doom dippy doom doom doom
Well, other than that crew over at Stax/Volt.
There was always a Nashville "Wrecking Crew" too ness pass?
