"McMaster: Kim Jong Un should not be sleeping easily at night"

Via Drudge:  McMaster made the remark in an interview Wednesday and emphasized that Kim has become increasingly isolated on the world stage.

McMaster made the remark in an interview Wednesday and emphasized that Kim has become increasingly isolated on the world stage.

"Because he has the whole world against him, right? He's isolated. He's isolated on this. Since 1953 the Korean peninsula has been in a state of armistice. The war never formally ended and there's been no aggression, no aggression from the United States, South Korea, any of our allies."

The national security adviser also said he isn't sure whether things would change in North Korea if the young dictator were taken out of power and argued his behavior means the future of the regime is "almost impossible to predict."

"Well, I'm not sure about that," McMaster said. "I don't think anyone has a very clear picture of the inner workings of that regime."

I don't know what Kim's sleep 😴 schedule is but as for me I'm back on a regular sleep schedule. I left the midnight shift at UPS for the day shift at DHL. It's going to be more hours but the work is lighter for about the same pay.

McMaster states pretty much the general opinion.

PS The people McMaster's firing, according to the Weakly Standard (I know...), are basically Bannon loyalists, so, if true (I stress the if), you may want to take that into consideration.

I have no idea, although Trump would not be the first guy who likes a little competition amongst the staff.

YMMV

McMasters along with Kelly are pawns of the Globalists and the Deep State. They want to retain the Obama loyalists and purge the nationalists that President Trump is bringing into the NSA.

The Globalists and the Neocons never saw a war that they didn't want to be in and make worse.
Look at Afghanistan. President Trump is saying enough is enough and doesn't want more of the same.

President Trump said he wanted input from the actual war fighters and not the three star generals. He had four noncoms come into the Oval Office to tell him what they thought. The generals just offer more of the same. More war. More death. More money thrown down a rathole. After all that is how they get promoted.

McMaster and Kelly have to go. I hope President Trump is strong enough to do that. His instinct are spot on but he loses every time he doesn't do what his gut tells him to do. Listen to guys who actually fight. Pull out of Afghanistan. Don't listen to the geopolitical posturing of the Neocons and the media. It is a failed policy. A failed war. The longer we are there under his watch the longer he buys it as his problem.

We don't need a war with North Korea. They have nukes. Ratcheting up the crisis does no one any good. Except for the war mongers like McCain and Graham and Bill Kristol and all the rest who want to start a war everywhere in the world that they can.

Never let anyone know that you're about to whack them.

McMaster, at least here, isn't advocating any war. He merely states what everyone thinks, that nobody knows how things work up there in the Hermit Kingdom.

And, what I find interesting is, "The national security adviser also said he isn't sure whether things would change in North Korea if the young dictator were taken out of power", so he clearly doesn't think regime change is the answer.

Saying he advocates war, at least in this piece, simply doesn't wash.

You are totally wrong ed. McMaster is a swamp thing. He wants a war. He is part of the McCain/Graham/CNN/Democratic axis that is ginning up confrontations everywhere. With North Korea. With Russia. They are the aristocrats who thought they could start a war and that there would be no consequences.

This is a deadly danger to our country.

Trump wants to end the endless war in Afghanistan. He wants to repudiate the Iran deal. McMasters hates Israel and want us to favor the Muslims. He put in a pro-Hamas Obama functionary to be in charge of our Middle Eastern Policy.

McMasters is totally against President Trumps policies. The ones that he ran on and got elected on by people like me. He wants to institute Barack Obamma's foreign Policy.

He is a cancer.

If he wants it, he doesn't seem to be getting it.

McCain is dying and CNN is a joke. We all know about Miss Lindsey.

As for Poot, he and The Donald seem to get each other, so I think this is a lot of sound and fury.

I could be wrong, but not now.

We'll see. I think, like Franklin Roosevelt in the 30s, Trump knows he needs time to straighten out the country economically.
