Via Drudge: Bishop James Dukes, pastor of Liberation Christian Center, said he wants the statue gone, and he wants George Washington’s name removed from the park.
“When I see that, I see a person who fought for the liberties, and I see people that fought for the justice and freedom of white America, because at that moment, we were still chattel slavery, and was three-fifths of humans,” he said. “Some people out here ask me, say ‘Well, you know, he taught his slaves to read.’ That’s almost sad; the equivalent of someone who kidnaps you, that you gave them something to eat.”

Return to sender to be eaten by a lion in all your splendor.
Pastor wants to be the next Jessuh Jackson.
It's interesting that they call it "liberation theology" when it's intended to keep people in chains. New chains, though. Different chains. Not the traditional chains. But still, it's a big lie. It is not a liberating theology, it's a theology that insists you stay in your box, remain a prisoner of your (and your ancestors') past. Like "anti-Fascist" the name is a brazen lie. For a while the "antiFa" and their mouthpieces were pretending to be anarchists so they could be blamed on the right. Now, they're "antiFa" and the pretense that they're the opposite of the fascists that they actually are is allowed to spread. And everyone goes along with it. You think if the white supremacists went around calling themselves "super men" or "heroes" or, oh I don't know, "anti Fa" that everyone would just allow that to pass without snide comment? Hell NO.
This is why we can't have nice things.
(Because of the moolies. They ruin everything.)
Jesse Jackson - named after a slave owner. Am I right?

I recall reading somewhere it started out as meaning anti First Amendment (the whole "free speech is too important to be left to just anyone") thing. Either they dropped it because it was truthful or my source was in error.
PS The idea that rally was a setup is gaining some traction.
Certainly, it's not beyond the realm of possibility. That's how the Reichstag caught fire and Poland attacked Germany in '39
To the surprise of no one, looney tunes torch Lincoln statue.
To be honest, George Washington would probably sue to have this park renamed. 10 homicides and 53 shot so far this year. South Shore which borders Jackson park has 18 dead and 84 wounded. They are 10th and 7th most deadly parts of the city. Estimates for treating victims range from One hundred twenty three million to two and a half billion dollars.
The dead ones are the cheapest. Coroner only charges $800 per. How much you think this Revrun is kicking in?
Ed, that's interesting and consistent with the opportunistic political morphing of their identity to fit the narrative of the moment and also consistent with their true fascistic goal.
