You're supposed to notice it really does spell the sounds for dude with a determinative man and spell the sounds for sweet with a determinative for anything sweet. So that you don't mistake it for spelling dwdi or suyt.

I feel like a lesser man for having missed the pop culture movie reference. And the fact that Sixty - Sixty!!! - got it before me just makes it worse.
LOL - indeed! Never saw the movie, although it should be required viewing if one wants to truly understand the cinematic canon of western art.
