"What do you have an extremely strong opinion on that is ultimately unimportant?"

I hate people who stand right in front of an elevator door waiting to get on.
The fucking locks in the bathroom stalls need to stop misaligning.

If you have worked inside since the year 2000 you should know how to use a God Damned computer. Being computer illiterate at this point in history is the same as being illiterate
People chewing with their mouths open. It brings me to the edge of committing violence.
People who leave cook time on the microwave are the scum of the earth.
Push from the bottom of the toothpaste. Neanderthals.

The better question: "What do you have a weak opinion on that is ultimately crucial?"

I see what you mean.

In the spirit of chickelit's question I don't care if the climate is changing.

In line with the complaint about standing in front of an elevator, or a subway door, for that matter, waiting to enter, I have noticed that many people walk through a portal - a door, a gate, a passageway into a venue, then just stop. Bam. Cloggin' up the works. Keep moving people, you are not the end of the line. Also, given the, shall we say, robustness of many these days, it doesn't take more than one of two of you to completely shut down the ingress or egress. Out of my way - I want to see the egress!

I don't know Dad Bones, I have a strong opinion that the Earth's climate is affected by far more than human activity. I'm fairly certain that climate change in unimportant.

Various errors in grammar and usage that everyone else stopped caring about a century ago. Particularly "comprised of."

Also, TP and paper towels should unroll over the top of the roll, people. It's so obvious.

Which is the correct way to fasten the 'twisty tie thingies' on the bread bad. Twist to the right to close..left to open.

Lefty loosey....righty tighty. DAMN IT!!!!

bread bag....not bad.

Also... squeeze the toothpaste from the bottom. Fortunately (for him) my now husband, Dumbplumber, does these things correctly :-)

Today was like walking at sea-level, the air is that thick and wet. And the clouds so close you can touch them with the promise of building up more and dumping its load. I can hear frightful shifts above the visible clouds and the temperature dropped markedly and birds are chirping insistently as if saying, "goddamnit FEED ME! chirp chirp chirp"

Just like millions of us, I feel very strongly that Hillary is a goddamned lying corrupt traitor and a fool that should never hold power over any free people, and it it doesn't matter one bit.

ESPN has been taken over by metrosexual millennial assholes. It's fucking unwatchable if you're over 50 years old.

The way Costco turns normal people into zombified fucking morons in the parking lot. It's like they lose all sense of pedestrianship the instant they get into that parking lot.

Methadras said...

People who touch all of the fruit at the store and never pick up a single one to buy. WTF.

Mine involves loading the dishwasher. There must be 50 ways to do it, but the way I do it seems best to me. And in the end, what does it matter?

Another bone of contention involves how much can be put into the dishwasher. I'd rather fill it full and get everything off the counter and in for washing, than be careful about overloading, because I can always rewash those that don't come out spotless, where the MrM prefers the more thoughtful, more dirty dishes sitting on the counter awaiting a 2nd load approach.

The Costco parking lot is definitely a zone in which entitlement and cluelessness seem to run together.

I married a German. She loads the dishwasher, packs the car, does all the organizing. I watched Anthony Bourdain in Cologne last night. One of the recurring themes from people he interviewed was just how organized German's are. Liberals deny science. They deny biology and anthropology w/ feminism. They deny medicine w/ abortion. And they deny genetics w/ PC. The "PC Kills" meme needs to be hammered over and over again by Trump. Wait..I'm not supposed to give advice to King Trump. "He calls the shots. People come to him!"

Costco kept trying to up sell me on membership. I DESPISE up selling. I refuse to answer the questions, "Would you like fries w/ that? Would you like anything else?" I give the person the awkward silence that can be unnerving, particularly w/ the look from my large, dark, eyes. With Costco, I wrote in black permanent marker on the back of my card "NO." It works.

There is a different dynamic @ different retailers. Walmart and Costco, that cater to folks @ different ends of the social strata, are both manic. Target, which seems to attract a more wide swath of socioeconomic people, is IMO, the most pleasant of the 3. Maybe it's the color scheme?
