Big Bud gets to swallow MillerCoors: Forbes link
We have something like 120 independent commercial brewers in San Diego County. I drink much less beer than I did in my youth and am willing to pay a bit more for the privilege. I just wish the lager revolution would happen a little quicker.

You don't buy beer...
All that beer is yucky anyway.
Odd 13, baby.
I like this sentence:
In the United States, Coors is majority owned by MillerCoors (a subsidiary of SABMiller) and minority owned by Molson Coors, though internationally it’s entirely owned by Molson Coors, and Miller is owned by SABMiller.
I own you, you own me.
I forgot to end my little big corporate DOJ children's song.
I own you, you own me.
just so long as you give to Hillary.
These microbrewer products are really overrated.
All the beers listed in this article are slightly better than piss. But not by much.
@Troop: We can't all love Rheingold let alone even get it.
I am a Newcastle Brown fan. Or Guinness.
That's it for me.
Doesn't all beer taste the same? Miller, Bud, Coors, Schlitz, etc.
The best thing about beer is drinking it with hot dogs or hamburgers.
I drank it when I was young when my mouth said champagne but my pocketbook said beer.
Now I drink Champagne.
Ale is different and pretty good for a change of pace.
What you talking about is lager rc. Most of the American lagers are pretty lame. Even the German and English ones are as well. I don't really care for them anymore. As you say you drank them when there isn't anything else.
They do go with hot foods or spicy stuff. So I enjoy a lager from the ethncity that we might be visiting. Dos Equis with Mexican. Tsing Tao with Chinese. Singha with Thai. All good shit because it is like soda pop.
But if you want a nice time drinking beer go with an ale or a stout. At least that is my opinion based on some intensive study over many years.
I raise my Shiner as a toast.
Red Nectar is still the best red ale ever made. Have it with a steak or a pizza and you'll thank me for it.
It is very good.
