This is exactly what's wrong with giving the government power. People elect idiots like this over and over. Many of them are incapable of doing anything other than sucking the teat of taxpayers, and they certainly can't make intelligent decisions, even limited ones. It would take a genus with divine inspiration to make the decisions required of a large centralized socialist nation that would outperform us making our own. Why do people trust fools like her to run their lives. I actually know the answer for the people who elect Waters. They trust her to steal money from the rest of us and get it to them. Maybe she is highly qualified for that.
This doofus is a puppet. Someone else pulls the strings. She says her lines, plays her role as Trump-impeacher in chief, to keep the idea alive and keep the morons stirred up and angry. No need to make sense, just keep the outrage going. Pointing out her stupid mistakes and hamfisted dumbshit corruption is racist and sexist per se. People do it but the immediate reaction is to check for racism/sexism before addressing the substance of the criticism. That dilutes the criticism right out of the box because the substance is secondary to the potential for racism/sexism.
Obviously, she's awful and a piss poor representative for her district. The problem is that they just keep voting her back into power. How do they not realize that she is someone else's puppet (ie., not their representative)? Probably because they never get that message. They're all dialed in to the left and nothing penetrates that hard candy shell. I regularly hear the guy who's running against her on the Larry Elder show. He's a sweetheart and says all the right things but he's not rude enough. He cares too much. What is needed is a disruptive candidacy, preferably black, ideally black and female, the harder to throw the racism/sexism card down.
