The Sheriff's Department of Orange County is opposed to the new California sanctuary law that limits cooperation with federal immigration officials so they're going to include the release date of and times of inmates' release to their "Who's in Jail" online database.
That makes it easier for federal agents to nab them. Obviously.
And they're admitting that they're communicating where the law is explicit. So I don't see what's stopping California legislature to press their position and enact another law that forbids this.
I dropped down to comments at the Orange County Register to see if anyone said what I thought but their 1350 + comments go way off the rails.

It makes me angry when the media and people act like California consists of only people (leftard loons) from San Francisco or La La Land. Take a look at the rest of the State and you will see normal, hard working, moderate to conservative people just trying to get along in a State controlled by the loons.
To be very serious. IF there is not a resolution to this huge divide between the Blue and Red parts of the State, if there is not a split of the State.....some very bad things can be brewing for the future. People are fed up!
Even though we love the area where we live, if there were any way to move from California, we would do it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, because our business is, literally, tied to the land, not transportable like Baghoh20's (remember him?) we are stuck until we can find a buyer and until we can sell, liquidate our assets. Stuck.
oopsy, most of the big city states are like that. Drive out of Philadelphia County and even the Main Line is lots more Conservative.
But, tell you a secret, you know why Trump put that citizenship question in the census?
To keep some of the sanctuaries from poaching Congressional seats. Take away the illegals and CA loses 3 House seats.

I moved from red-turning blue North County San Diego to red-turning blue Orange County. Illegal voting is what’s turning these areas blue.
