The actor Anton Yelchin was killed when his Jeep Grand Cherokee rolled backwards and pinned him between a brick wall.
He played navigator Pavel Chekov in the reboot "Star Trek."
An odd thing about the case is that Fiat Chrysler had mailed a recall letter to Yelchin that was received seven days after is death.
The problem with the vehicles is that it fakes out the drivers into thinking the automobile is in park when it's actually in neutral.
Drop down to comments at One American News Network and see there is no sympathy at all for Yelchin parking on a steep slope without engaging his emergency brake.

I wonder if young people realize the importance of setting the e brake. Cars have come so far, they may think it's not necessary. I will check with my kids to see how much it was stressed.
