Go and catch a falling star,
Get with child a mandrake root,
Tell me where all past years are,
Or who cleft the devil's foot,
Teach me to hear mermaids singing,
Or to keep off envy's stinging,
And find
What wind
Serves to advance an honest mind.

Did "wind" rhyme with "find" and "mind" in Elizabethan speech? Or was Donne taking poetic liberties?
That is a great song, and one that I need subtitles for, not just because of Ivan's accent but because his speech is slurred.
For some reason lately that song has come to mind.
Have you been interacting with a raving drunk? Or are you saying you are done?
Mumps, I always figured wind meant path.
