Anti-gun Parkland student David Hogg does not want his backpack rights infringed upon

New security protocols at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School is putting into place will require students to use clear, transparent backpacks only.

John Nolte at Breitbart elaborates on the irony.

Just when you break out, just when you start making a name for yourself, just when you're getting national attention, they pull you back into their infuriating tiny power structure and force you to wear what they say.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

After all that campaigning he's still just a little boy.

Good Lord, these things are ugly. So far as fashion accessories, there's really nothing that can be done with them. Except plaster stickers all over them.

Someone brought up an excellent point about the Chinless Chipmunk.

Why isn't he in school? Unless, of course, he really is 21 and graduated in CA 3 years ago.

I have the feeling that when he is 52 years old he will STILL be a whiny little boy refusing to give up his 15 minutes of fame, wallowing in his past glory, unable to face reality and probably can't even do his own laundry or cook a grilled cheese sandwich.....cuz Mommy did everything for him. Don't laugh. I've known people like this.

Backpacks?? We didn't have no stinkin' backpacks in my day in high school. In addition to walking up hill in the snow to school both ways :-)....we had to lug those books with us too. Juggling all the way. All the way to the car in the parking lot. It was HORRIFIC.

Actually it was cool. My dad let me drive his 67 Jeepster Commando. My mother was so harsh! She wouldn't let me drive her Old Cutlass 442 to school. She harshed my mellow :-D

This little brat is a poster child for bringing back caning. He said on the air that his teachers don't mind and that he's been allowed to "take time off" to go on his grand publicity tour. This whole child army march is more about dividing and conquering early than about convincing people on gun control.

Is he the same punk ass who accused Rubio of being a terrorist?

I'll bet you money he is also the same guy who bullied the shooter.

I thought they didn't take home homework anymore. Every knows they don't read those textbooks at home. So what's the purpose of the backpack anyway?

Pro-tip Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School; AR's don't fit in backpacks. This is another stunt, like putting in SRO trained to do nothing, that would not prevent the attack that occurred.

I feel sorry in a way for this kid, this child. He is in store for a real dissapointment when his few moments of fame have vanished.

Remember Cindy Sheehan? How she was used and then tossed away when her usefulness was used up? This is the same thing that is going to happen to "little Hogg". (lol the mental image that that brought up). Aaaaanyway.....I hope his future irrelevance doesn't drive him to commit acts of violence.

Daddy is FBI and mommy is a teacher. Pro State Programming is probably permanent at this point. He's going to be wretched his whole life. Parkland was a colossal failure (upon failure upon failure upon failure) by the State so this has all been a big deflection game from the get. Plus, now, an opportunity to intimidate the children on a grand scale with the importance of obeying the collective.

Students in my high school would bring rifles in and out in rifle bags.
