"Twitter users are reporting Trump's account for 'threatening violence' against North Korea"

Via Drudge:  Can a president be suspended from Twitter for threatening to attack another country?

That's what some Twitter users, including actor and former Barack Obama aide Kal Penn, are demanding, after President Trump tweeted Friday morning that U.S. "military solutions are now fully in place, locked and loaded, should North Korea act unwisely."

Critics of the president's tweet say the rhetoric reflects a threat of violence against North Korea that violates Twitter's rules and terms of service.

"Seems pretty clear that you can't threaten mass murder via nuclear war, right @twitter? Asking for 7.4 billion friends," tweeted Penn, along with a screenshot of Twitter's terms of service.

It is still unclear whether Twitter intends to act on requests for Trump's account to be suspended. Twitter declined to comment on the matter, citing a company policy not to discuss individual accounts "for privacy and security reasons."

Yea, lets review some leftist accounts and see how those Twitter rules are enforced. Lets see how many threats against Trump and Trumpers there are, and lets close all those accounts down. Then Twitter will be mostly right wing, and I might actually use mine.

Oh, please. Of course, President Trump's personal Twitter account should not be suspended. It's how he's most comfortable communicating, and in no way is it, domestically, in anyone's best interests to be cut off from how his mind works and what he's thinking, at any given moment.

I'm not being sarcastic. I am dead serious about this.

President Donald J. Trump is just 7 months into the first year of his first term, and--given the base and other demography & etc.--quite possibly just 7 months into just his first full term of two terms in office.

I don't get why people don't get this. I'm not saying I like it. I'm saying it's as foolish to think he won't get a second term as to have thought he wouldn't get a first one (and, yes, I thought it was waaay likely that he'd get elected to his first term).

Given the reality (and even while it's my strong preference that NO President of the United States of America tweets, ever, at all, and *above all* with regard to foreign policy), I choose to be neither foolish nor naive, much less to waste time wishin'-which-ain't-gettin'.

And also: No suspending the Real Donald J. Trump's Twitter account, say I.

If Trump goes, a lot of people go with him. Twitter probably can't take the hit.

PS Kumar is just mad because The Donald is making Kumar's old boss (should have stayed with House) look like the pansy he is.

I think Twitter has every right to suspend or even ban Trump's account. That said, I do think doing so would be a dumb idea, if for no other reason then what Bags mentions, as if Twitter thoroughly monitors its rules for lefty violence. While Twitter can get away with suspending Popehat and others from time to time; suspending Trump won't go unnoticed and would be a signal that they only want certain customers.

If they want to destroy their company they should do it.

Because an alternative will spring up and demolish it.

That is why I am on Gab and not Facebook.

A scant 12-so years hence. I must wonder what I'll be seeing, how I'll be viewing stuff, then.
