Via Drudge: "We'd be actually very interested in his candidacy," Law (president of the Senate Leadership Fund), said during an interview on C-SPAN's "Newsmakers." He pointed to a recent poll showing him trailing Stabenow by 8 points. "That's not a bad place to start at."
"The superficial sense of Kid Rock is that he's an entertainer, that he's kind of this wild redneck," Law continued. "But the truth of the matter is that he's done a lot in his home state philanthropically, he's a pretty smart guy, he thinks about policy, and he's a shrewd businessman."I expect women to pop out of the woodwork and stand next to Gloria Allred, with allegations of sexual misconduct on the part of Kid Rock. You have been warned.

Of course.
How dare a rock star act like one?
PS These days, Allred's Satan spawn, Lisa Bloom, seems to be grabbing all the face time.
Having Gloria Allred against you, might be a big vote swing for Kid Rock.
I think you might have something there.
He's better as a rock singer than Al Franken is as a comedian, so that's a point in his favor. Sonny Bono was said to have been an effective congressman so there's a precedent.
