Noal Farm, cashews

Groups of workers arranged scorching the hard shells, groups of workers cracking them open, groups of workers cleaning them up. Maybe they're happy. Maybe they're satisfied. Maybe they're worse off without cashews. This video made me sad

The video leaves out as much as it puts in.

No mention given why they graft a mature stem onto a seedling.

No mention of the nut containing poison and how that is avoided.

Why pick up the whole apple when the nut is the seed inside the pod? Why use all that space in the basket?

Then after all that slave labor, all that handling, each nut touched by several workers, the finished salted nuts are cheap as H-E-Double bent tree branches.

Amazon, salted cashews, 44oz, $20.00 ($7.20 lb)

Cashew husks are very toxic. It is very tough work to process them.
