Lots of misunderstanding about Imelda. It was a rate of rain event creating a massive and wide spread flash flood. By midnight, much of the flood water was inside the banks, other than the San Jacinto river. Yet people are comparing Imelda to Harvey. I wish Harvey was only a 24 hour or even a 3 day event. On day 6 of constant heavy rain, I really wished Harvey was only a 4 day event. Imelda is no Harvey.

BTW, the tornado rated at F0, sort of like the 6 hour "named tropical storm that made landfall" that spawned it.
