Roman numerals

1... 9... 7... 5

He was born 1994, so that must be his mother's birth year.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha. Don't they teach this in Canadian schools or in tattoo shops?

One of my favorite lines in Revenge of the Nerds is a character being asked if he knows the meaning of hat printed with "Malcom X." He answers, "Sure. Malcom Ten."

Toni was great at this. In crossword puzzles she delights whenever the clue involves Roman numerals.  The clue isn't just what some number is in roman numerals, it's a math problem that must be converted then solved, and converted back to Roman numerals. Her delight caused me to delight. They're gimmies.

If you would say, "Hey Justin, your Roman numerals are wrong." He'd go, "I know. Shut up."

Long division is especially hard using Roman numerals. And don't even talk to me about decimals. Ironically it was Romans who invented decimation.
