Apparently he'll deliver his speech in Sacramento near the capitol. I read that somewhere. We'll see.
He's actually trolling California.
I think he intends to sue California. Withhold funds from them that they are due. It's expected he'll cite studies about sanctuary cities breeding crime.
Denver is such a city. And sanctuary-related crime is a subject of discussion. Denver does not cooperate with I.C.E. There is a case presently in which the feds want to deport the guy, who can be freed on bond, while the city wants to prosecute him by their own legal means for the laws that he violated. They want him to serve time here if it gets to that. That is their answer to the feds.
At any rate, the news is, Jeff Sessions actually moves.

Sessions has been taking scalps on the immigration front, as Trump wanted him to do.
Delivering the new policy initiative in Sacto is sheer genius. Moonbeam will freak.
It's a hop and a skip to Oakland, where Sessions could personally arrest that Oakland mayor.
Jeff is no trial attorney (but neither were most of his recent predecessors). Actions speak louder than words. Just win the case.
Re: showboating Oakland mayor - don't give this bimbo any more publicity. Even here in the Bay Area people can see she's not helping anyone other than herself.
Sessions would have had more credibility as he was giving his speech by sending out federal agents to arrest Jerry Brown, DeLeon, and the Oakland mayor for violating federal immigration laws. That would have meant something, but other than a strongly worded rebuke is about as effective as pissing in the wind and california marxicrats know it.
You'd have to have a specific charge against Moonbeam, et al.
Wishing you could bust these people isn't enough.
PS There's a post on Gateway quoting Moonbeam asTrump basically going to war with California.
I think if Trump wanted Moonbeam busted, Sessions would have announced the beginning of an investigation.
As usual (like the good little prob that he is), Moonbeam is projecting.
Always assume progressive projection. Always.
They lack imagination, having had their script dictated to them all their lives.
So they default to what's already cued up in their heads.
