Here is a thought, phrased in the form of a question. Can you think of something, from what we learned since the surreptitious airport tarmac meeting, that would point away from a rigged proposition on the part of Comey, Lynch, Hillary et all?
The Hill: Hillary Clinton did not swear an oath to tell the truth before meeting with the FBI for three and a half hours last weekend, and the interview was not recorded, FBI Director James Comey told House lawmakers on Thursday.
The lack of a sworn oath does not remove the possibility of criminal penalties against Clinton if she lied to the FBI, though he said he had “no basis to conclude” that she was untruthful.
“Still a crime to lie to us,” Comey told the House Oversight Committee.
FBI policy is not to record interviews as part of its investigations. Yet the revelations will nonetheless raise questions among Republicans, who have been skeptical of the FBI’s investigation and have demanded to see the transcript of the former secretary of State’s interview in downtown Washington on Saturday.
From the clips I was able to watch (following via twitter) Comey should no longer be trusted to continue as the head of the FBI. That should be the first thing, if anybody is interested in putting things back together again.

The level of ignorance of people reporting on this is astounding. The FBI do not record or swear people in when interviewing. They interview and then do 302 reports. They DON'T NEED YOU UNDER OATH since lying to the FBI under any circumstances IS A FELONY. They don't record because then they have TOTAL CONTROL. They take notes, write it up, and if they say you lied, then you lied. I covered this in detail in the Haz post earlier today. NEVER allow yourself to be interviewed by the FBI if you are even remotely concerned you may be a target. NEVER. Hillary obviously felt pretty confident and my aforementioned comment explains why that was. The FBI phoned it in on this one.
The 302 is not a transcript. It is a detailed account of an interview, but it is not a transcript. The FBI are TOTAL CONTROL FREAKS.
Got it.
I had not read your previous comments.
Lem, I'm not barking at you. I just never cease to be amazed @ how alleged professional scribes who report on topics, like the FBI, know nothing about it. I realize the vast majority of people don't know this and I wouldn't expect them to, unless they're in the biz or criminals.
Oh yeah, I remember now, all those times the FBI interrogated me they never did video tape our discussion or nuthin and I'm all like, how are you going to remember exactly? I'll always fuck up a square dance.
Grab your partner, be a lug
hit 'em in the head with a gallon jug.
prance and romp and promenade
push in front of the sawing blade.
Slap 'em up in the pig sty farm
Bow and introduce bodily harm
Curtsey to your partner low
Kick 'em in the nuts and let 'em go.
Round round don't ya know
Beat 'em up and don't be slow.
See, Two hillbillies are doing to each other whatever the caller tells them to do, the caller is Bugs Bunny. It's hilarious. A Dutch woman used to sing this because it cracked her up so much.
As far as that goes, no one in the Federal government can be trusted.
Ya say ya want a a revo-lution, yeah...

So, according to what Comey said yesterday, Hillary lied and is guilty of a felony.
Still and all, the way he put it, without explanation, made him and his people sound like idiots.
So things may be worse for Hillary now than they were a few days ago.
Maybe Coulter was right.
See her tweet.
Just before Bill Clinton was inaugurated as the 42nd President of the United States on January 20, 1993, allegations of ethical improprieties were made against Sessions. A report by outgoing Attorney General William P. Barr presented to the Justice Department that month by the Office of Professional Responsibility included criticisms that he had used an FBI plane to travel to visit his daughter on several occasions, and had a security system installed in his home at government expense.[5] Janet Reno, the 78th Attorney General of the United States, announced that Sessions had exhibited "serious deficiencies in judgment."[6]
Although Sessions denied that he had acted improperly, he was pressured to resign in early July, with some suggesting that President Clinton was giving Sessions the chance to step down in a dignified manner. Sessions refused, saying that he had done nothing wrong, and insisted on staying in office until his successor was confirmed. As a result, President Clinton used his powers to dismiss Sessions immediately on July 19, 1993.[6] Sessions was five and a half years into a ten-year term as FBI director; however, the holder of this post serves at the pleasure of the President.
I don't know why Comey didn't blast Rodham and resign. If she gets in he'll be gone anyway. As above the Clintons got rid of an FBI director they didn't want and put in one of their own, without a peep of protest from anyone. IIRC the Clinton crap was even too much for Louie Freeh to swallow.
Never talk to the government. Many youtube videos explain why.
You can be completely uninvolved and tell the complete truth and some prosecutor finds a friend of yours who mistakenly says he saw you somewhere that night and you're on trial for lying and probably being the perp for whatever it is. It's up to the jury.
If you don't say anything, there's no opportunity to be contradicted and no question arises for the jury to consider.

They want one they own.
ed, If you listened to Comey's testimony, he really hedged on the questions asked of Clinton, and how she responded. He said he would give the 302's to the Committee. This is one of the few spots Comey was equivocal. As I said previously, the FBI didn't need a referral from Congress. They should have had the transcript of how she testified under oath @ the Benghazi hearing and framed their questions accordingly, trying to trick her up. I have a strong suspicion they did not do this. That's not how these guys normally operate. They love to be able to put a suspect in a trick bag. Maybe Hillary was right, this was a "security review" and not an investigation. That last sentence was said w/ robust sarcasm.

So let me understand this then. Can she lie to the public in her public statements about what she did yet not 'lie' to the FBI in their 302 with her and not have that be considered lying?
