Eternal Truths of the Orderly Mind.

Boss Tweed: You're a good one for the fighting, Bill. But you can't fight forever.
Bill: I can go down doing it.
Boss Tweed: And you will!
Bill: What did you say?
Boss Tweed: I said, you're turning your back on the future.
Bill: Not our future.

The Lefties will push as hard as they can until someone stands up to them. witness how the Norks backed down once that happened.

This is about controlling the narrative. Today, it's the Confederacy, then the Founding Fathers or subsequent luminaries (such as Old Hickory) who owned slaves, then Union officers who fought the Civil War to preserve the Union (Sherman, Custer, etc), rather than free the slaves (which was most of them), and so on.

It's a fusion of Stalin's creation of non-persons and IS' destruction of anything they don't like. You see CAIR joining with the Lefties on those horrible slavers.

Thing is, the first rule of history goes - you want a war, you get a war.

Usually more war than you can handle.

And right on cue, now the Lefties want a statue of Teddy Roosevelt in Gotham taken down
