It wasn't their ongoing lunacy, deceitfulness, manipulations or their boring declarations that did them so much as their ability to garner response after response from commenters who seemed to relish the opportunity to pounce and counter rather than stay on the Chosen Topic at Hand.

The video made me laugh, as did Trooper York's zinger regarding the sighting of edutcher, even though he appears to be loyal to his Blonde and says he doesn't drink. That was a classic TY flip, of the kind that brought me over to his blog (accused of fingering chickens) and eventually played a role in the room emptying that led to Levity.
At no point did I consider the character or the behavior Inga revealed online to be comedy gold, though I did appreciate chickelit's ability to use his own humor and creativity to address it.
Public information confirming the tragedy mentioned comes up with Google using the online name of the commenter and the names of the two states involved.

Hey Troop. Good to be back. Sometimes you have to walk away to appreciate what you miss the most. It's not like I ever really left, but for some stupid reason, I thought having/seeking a larger audience for my opinions was going to work. It didn't because a place like twitter is an utter shithole echo chamber where even the owners are against you. Anyone that is remotely a rightist gets shit on in that place and if you're a leftist, you really have to be an over the top unhinged looney with a ton of real complaints to even get a look at by them.
If you talk about Islam in a way you don't like, they will screw you. If you talk about a celebrity disparagingly, they will screw you. I went to places like Gab/Parler are just a waste of time from a user interface and user experience point of view. They aren't very well thought out and are not developed well. There was another space that I went to called Quodverum and I liked it, but my stint there lasted all of a week until the administrator there banned me for bigotry or what he thought was bigotry. Dude was a giant hypocrite, but whatever.
Social media is a giant pit of despair and a useless wasteland. It really is. I'm not even on facebook anymore. I deleted my account. I'm barely on instagram and i don't even have anything on there. That place is a full-time job anyway, so the hell with that. Anyway, my real point is, is that places like this matter. I went to another part of the lawn so to speak, not that it was greener, but it was just a different part of the lawn. I still enjoy this shady part of the lawn.
Maybe if I have something interesting I want to say I'll let you know and see if I can post it.
