It's interesting to read what conservative sites focus on from Trump's MAGA rally in Minneapolis. Tom Tillison with BizpacReview concentrates on Trump going to a representative's state and ripping her to shreds.
Yes, he did do that and it was interesting. Trump is talking to the people who elected her. Not precisely the actual people who voted for her, but to the larger group of people outside of the Target center who did. Trump is talking directly to people within the group who most likely did not vote for her in the city that did. As if they were responsible. Amusing. That's what is so odd. He's speaking directly to the losers as if they elected her knowing they didn't and making them feel like they can reverse their misfortune.
Of course nothing our betters do involving immigrants, race, nationality or religion can be noted far less criticized everything Trump said is instantly characterized as Islamophobic, Xenophobic, etc.
But that characterization has no impact. It's just noise. They're making the same mistake that Norman Lear made by introducing the character Archie Bunker. Lear expected the character Bunker to be so low class so narrow minded that he would be instantly rejected by right-thinking people. Instead Archie Bunker was embraced as a lovable character. "Hippies live on communes so that makes them commune-ists." Come on. That's hilarious.
Left out of this article at Bizpac, IIRC, Trump told his audience that immigrants were foisted on their city. The federal government imposed immigrants in concentration on Minneapolis and Trump announced that he put an end to that. From now on the federal government must get the approval from city government before federal government can unload immigrants onto them. So if you have a problem with that then talk to your city government. This got a very strong positive reaction from his Minnesota audience.
Omar characterizes that as simply hate. His hate is no match for "our movement." Stand with her by donating now.
The article at Bizpac is worthwhile. Viewed in Safari the site presented two overlaying pop-ups to annoy before getting to the article.
Other than the omission stated above and the site's built-in coded annoyance, the article is an enjoyable read.
The article points out that Trump left out more material than he included. From that standpoint Trump was showing restraint. Omar could be attacked much more harshly, much more precisely and more damaging and with no exaggeration or hyperbole while still being true.
Omar reacted immediately but without contesting anything Trump said, instead she just called him a hater.
My favorite part is the tweets contrary to Omar that each speak to truth.
* At least he didn't say you married your brother and was banging and paying off a campaign contractor while you were married, so he showed some restraint.
* The truth hurts.
* Somebody said something ... every word of it was true.
* Here in America we call that hitting the nail on the head. Every word of it was true.
* What I love about this tweet is that even you were riveted to the TV watching our leader in chief.
[Ha! Not necessarily.]
* Kindly explain what the President did that was false. You are socialist. You hate America and want to completely change it. The immigrant population didn't assimilate but has actually made it clear Americans aren't welcome in the community and call for Sharia law.
* And it was 💯 true. Fantastic rally in MN. Maybe the BEST!

This is why Parscale, Mulvaney, Conway & Co think they can take 40+ states next year.
