coconut liners

I like the troughs that hang on the railing. They work out nicely but they do have a few problems. First, this is Denver and dry as dust. The air sucks out the moisture like a sponge held up in the air. The dirt can be made soaking wet to saturation in the morning and be bone dry by afternoon.

The second problem is a business below with a protruding greenhouse type oriel window.

This is proof of concept for using the hydrogel in diapers to hold water against the trough liner for longer through the day. The dirt inside the liner will have the polymer hydrogel mixed in also.

Not embarrassing buying these at all. "Oh yeah, I pee my pants all the time. As a matter of fact, I'm doing it right now.

This held the cotton material of two diapers. It is filled with dirt that has similar pellets mixed in. It's planted. Right now the dirt is holding a gallon of water. It may hold even more. I haven't tried maxing it out. We'll see how this works. There are three more to do.

The spray glue works better than I thought. I just need it to hold until the dirt can be added. It would work fine without the cotton material and just regular hydrogel beads.
