Žižek introducing Laibach

Brace yourself. This gets weird, for its strange handling of its strange subject. Deep for its philosophy. Challenging for its reversals. Annoying/fascinating for his physical tics. Hilarious for his speech impediment. More severe than Peter Cook the Impressive Clergyman in The Princess Bride. You risk speaking like this all day.

What, that doesn't happen?

Slavoj Žižek is a Slovenian philosopher whose work deals with critical analysis of various forms of popular culture which makes him a popular figure of academic left. He challenges both the orthodoxies of the political right and the social-liberal universities. Here is his Wikipedia page if you trust that.

It doesn't take a brainiac philosopher to know something is off. One single speech therapy session could correct this. Just say'n.

Žižek on Trump, so you can see for yourself how hopelessly wrong he is. And how within that wrongness how right he is.

Žižek on Twitter. Mostly pithy original aphorisms.

In These Times. Žižek says Trump is a threat to international stability. Ha! Bingo. You win.

You're going to hate this. I know you. You don't have to put this on your rotation just look and listen awhile to know what Žižek is talking about.

Laibach is a Slovenian avant garde musical group.
