Good times, good times. Rock on, dude...December 31, 2018 at 8:20 PMI saw the band in Madison in 1975 but I don't recall much. Real doobies may have been involved.
They did have a great rhythm section -- especially the bass player:

A version done by Playing for Change, featuring Lara Johnston, daughter of founding member Doobie Brother Tom Johnston. I was 12 in 1975. Although I was a fan, I wasn't old enough to attend concerts.
One of the great groups of the post-hippie days when you could actually hear the music and the words.
