Apparently there is no point in telling Democrat leaders, they don't listen to anything Trump says anyway. He did that already and they just talk right over him. Then celebrate, dancing the night away, their victory over bad orange man.
Trump stage managed the communication to American people without the help of legitimate media and despite a corrupted media tantamount to American version of Itar-Tass except American version is cooperative with Party voluntarily and not by force of government. That's quite an achievement when you think about it, Trump has made clear he will close government over the issue border security, and the people said, "Good." There will no usual mixing of issues, no usual confusion among the population, no arguments about who is to blame, no questions about why it is done. If it is done.
Paul Ryan and Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy held a 1 minute presser if you care to see that.

Brian Kolfage's Go Fund Me Border Wall $1 Billion goal, raises nearly $10 million in just a few days. But it isn't so simple as raising money, I think he's making a point.
I was going to make a joke the first day at $500 thousand about how many 1/2 millions must be raised for $5 Billion to finance a 2,000 mile barrier, and that's just the first year for the wall. But then the next day the fund was at $1 million in the morning and $5 million by afternoon, and today nearly $10 million, and this is mostly smaller individual contributions, individuals putting their dinero where their bocas are. And poof there went my joke. But, you cannot just turn the money over to government and say, "this is to build a wall." It doesn't work that way, nonetheless a powerful point is being made by a whole lot of people. Apparently they are saying, "Trump, we got your back. Shut'er down."
