Green Bay Packers fire head coach Mike McCarthy

I have no idea what this means. Is this even a thing? I read comments all over the place to understand what this means, but frankly, hieroglyphs make more sense.

* Anyone want to bet he'll be in Cleveland next year?

* Aaron got his way. Biggest loser the guy looking forward to doughnuts at Monday morning film study.

* They are 4-7-1 to date. Only one of their 4 wins is over a team with a winning record.

* As Coach Bum Phillips said There's two types of coaches. Them that's been fired and them that's going to be. the main reason McCarthy was a successful coach is Aaron Rodgers who is the best QB in football.

* I haven't watched since National Felons started taking the knee.

And many more that all sound like inside jokes to me and shop talk, layered impenetrable euphemisms.

Allen, I agree. Not all his fault but the head coach is always in the hot seat. There's a transformation going on in sports. Coaches/managers now need to be touchy feely for the millenials they coach. McCarthy, Zimmer, Popovich, etc. are on the endangered species list.
