The worst most brutal scene in the history of Television
If you are sensitive then please don't watch this because as I said it is the worst most brutal scene in the history of television. It makes all of the scenes of murder and mayhem pale in the truth of what happened in the medieval times that Game of Thrones is supposed to represent in a fantasy world.
I would submit that it is what makes Game of Thrones what it is and why it has such a reputation.
But still it will break your heart.

I didn't watch. Actually, I haven't watched any Games of Thrones. But I also don't like watching Braveheart, because of the scene were Longshanks casually slits Murron's throat. The simple ease of killing is what bothers me in the scene. She was literally cut without any warning and having no chance to defend herself.
I have no problem with the torture of William Wallace later. I realize his death is supposed to be much more brutal. But he is prepared for it and faces it. Murron's not given the chance.
As I've said, execution porn.
In some neighborhoods tough love is really tough.
