Of all the places that could be linked for a video of Barr saying he thinks FBI did some spying on Trump, the website Ace of Spades links to a malevolently stupid Twitter account of a Vox journalist who manages to extract the exact opposite understanding from the material presented.

Why did Ace of Spades do this? Any number of YouTube links is available without the Twitter crap that goes with this one. Aaron Rupar, whoever that dumbass is, aome perfectly idiotic journalist for vox.com. And I mean perfect.

The entire thread is perfectly ridiculous. Just look at this stupid shit.

Barr has the entire Mueller report in front of him. He has evidence of FISA abuse to create a false predicate for an investigation into Trump that transformed investigation into spying. He has evidence of intentional manipulation of intelligence information and conspiracy to weaponize intelligence apparatus against a political party and a presidential candidate. He has evidence of government officials engaging in intelligence leaks to media. He has evidence the entire investigation is bogus to cover FBI and DOJ malfeasance. He is not, as dumbass Aaron Rupar, who's been living on a steady diet of Trump-Russian conspiracies for three years, states, "echoing baseless righ-win(g) conspiracy theories. Vox's Rupar has things precisely 100% 180° mirror-reversed wrong.

Shaheen is not left speechless because Barr's comment is so bizarre, rather, she's blown away from how damaging this is for her allies within with the administrative state who put her up to this line of questions as advanced query by way of political reconnaissance so that they can gauge the extent of their risk so that they can plan their defensive narrative. Against what they fear: the truth coming out. Finally.  Her allies are nervous and that shows through this line of inquiry. Shaheen is temporarily speechless because she is caught up gauging that damage herself. Barr's comment shocked her and not because it is baseless conspiracy, rather, because she sees the truth beginning to emerge ineluctably and that prospect is frightening for her and her allies. It takes a moment to digest.

But Vox "journalist" cannot see that.

Then Rupar departs briefly to concern about ACA not realizing that's already dead as a rusted doornail and being supplanted with something better. While his commenters don't care about that. Instead, they simply cannot reasonably piece together their world being shattered. The pieces don't fit back together so to make any sense of their shattered world they assume the worst in others that they know of themselves.
