April you are very silly. Trump should certainly add Ted Cruz to the Supreme Court. That is the best place for him. His rigid unbending principles properly belong on the Court and not in the give and take of electoral politics. He is after all a lawyer so of course he is a liar. That is their profession.
Donald Trump does not have to hold a grudge. He beat Cruz and Rubio and Christie and Ben Carson fair and square in a tough contest with no holds barred. He offered an olive branch and people like Christie and Carson and Rand Paul have accepted. Some of them will be in his administration. Cruz and Rubio can be as well. They can take the tack of Tom Cotton and try to work with Trump and to influence him by their ideas and competence. Or they can take their ball and go home to cry to momma like Jeb. That is Cruz's choice. I think he will be at the convention and will endorse Trump and will be happy to accept a Supreme Court nomination. He will be coming around quickly. Especially when Trump puts out his list of potential Supreme Court nominees and Teddy is at the top of the list. He has never done anything that was not in service of his ambition.
I just hope that in the press conference when Ted Cruz accepts his nomination to the Court that he doesn't hit his wife again. It is getting hard to explain. Just saying.

He can even be very influential in the areas that they agree unlike Paul Ryan. If Cruz comes in and helps with immigration and trade legislation they can do great things together.
Or he can take the Jeb Bush, Bill Kristol, NRO, Red State and Paul Ryan tact. Take you ball and go home to mommy because they were mean to me. They didn't pick me when they were choosing up sides. I don't want to play anymore if I can't be in charge.

Cruz would not get any Dem votes, and less than half of Republican senators in a SCOTUS vote. So unless the Senate rules have changed and one only needs 23 votes to become a SCOTUS justice, Cruz be SOL.
