Things are getting worse for Veterans as far as health care. It started about 4 years ago, the wait times will kill you if you need care immediately. They have this new thing called Veterans Choice, whereas, if you can't get in for a scheduled procedure within 30 days, and if you live outside of a 40 mile radius, you can apply for a Veterans Choice option to get the procedure done locally at the closest hospital to you.
I'm coming up on the 5 year colonoscopy. I can't get into the VA for the procedure until Aug-Sept. That was from the 1st of this month.
I'll let you know what's going on, because I have a phone message about it, and I'll call them tomorrow.
He has an interesting face. He has the kind of face that cannot get away with crap like this.
I have a new line.
It's unrelated but it's more fun than this. It's cute, you may have it. When somebody asks you, "So, where are you going?" You say, "Oh, I gotta go to the vet." Then they look all concerned, their brow furrows with immediate worry because everyone loves little doggies and kittens, with deep anxious unease and consernation they go, "Why what's wrong?" Then you flex your biceps and look at one and say, "Because these puppies are sick.
What did I tell you guys. Nothing would happen to these people. When the Phoenix VA bullshit sparked the entire debate for the VA's across the country and that half-black traitor, hater of patriotic men and women who have served, who promised that things would change and we all knew never would and now we realize that things would never change. Now these fuckers testify to their failures and nothing will happen to them. Nothing ever happens to these guys. Ever.
Unbelievable. This is who is in charge of the health care of our veterans.
Comparing a wait in line for a fun ride at a theme park to waiting while in pain, ill, maimed or dying to see a doctor. Geez. The difference? He can't see it??? You are not going to DIE while waiting to get on the voluntary fun ride. You are likely to DIE if you don't get medical help in time.
Yup. Can't wait for that Government controlled health care.

The Demos' regard for men who were wounded in the service of this country.
Shinseki was bad, but he had a head start as Willie's Army COS.
This moron is worse, at least as bad as the head to the TSA.

The suspension builds.

Wait now... the GOP Reps will impeach them... in a few years... months before they would likely leave office anyway with a new administration...
Ok, perhaps you are on to something.

They should be out in 8 months.
Allen, Kudos on getting that scope done. I got a 10 year reprieve but I'm due for another this year. Too many men avoid it.
This new guy has not shown any evidence that he is up to the job.
That's the idea.
Malign neglect.
If you want to see what single payer healthcare is going to look like, then the VA is a perfect example of that.
