The suit cites statements Mosby made that Porter and White knew Gray was in distress when they checked on him in the back of the transport wagon, but ignored his cries for help and did nothing to administer aid.
'These statements were defamatory because they exposed Plaintiffs to public scorn, hatred and contempt, and thereby discouraging others in the community from having a favorable opinion of, or association with, Plaintiffs,' the lawsuit says.

She tried to build a rep by having them lynched. The fact they are both black ought to put to rest the whole "black community" thing for all eternity.
It would be nice if a billionaire (a la Thiel vs Gawker) stepped up for the cops.

It's also a class thing. If you don't think Mosby mentally lives on another planet from the ones black cops live on, there is that bridge in Brooklyn I want to talk to you about. It is well known in sales that one NEVER employs "lower class" (no matter how well scrubbed, earnest and presentable) blacks to sell door-to-door products in up-scale black neighborhoods. Whites, however, by contrast are always tres acceptable to the up-scale black community "Black solidarity" indeed..

Anyone who has worked in the criminal justice system knew just how blatantly wrong this ambitious DA was when she put on her performance charging these cops. Now, even people who don't know how a DA should act knows how despicable she is. She is a female Mike Nifong. Only unlike Nifong, this bitch won't get disbarred.
I hope she gets sued into oblivion. I've made no bones that cops and prosecutors should have any prosecutorial and civil immunities removed so they can feel the full weight of their decisions and make appropriate decisions accordingly. Then and only then will they really mete out justice appropriately.

The two cops look like decent, trustworthy people. It's a shame that no one in the black community has said a word in their defense. It's also a shame that no one in the black community has ever directed a word of criticism at Suge Knight or this latest rapper shown recklessly shooting up a crowded room.....If you prosecute decent people like these two cops and celebrate slime creatures like Suge Knight, then you will get less decent characters and more slime balls.
