Blue Man Group, I Feel Love

I like this a lot and it does't bother me that I anticipate you'll hate it. Your taste in music is particular.

But I would like your opinion on a comment that does bother me.

I noticed this on a British site. It's not their usual sort of thing. Yet they connected to this. They like it, and that surprised me.  But they did not connect with the audience in the video. Odd, that. Because I noticed nothing unusual about the the audience. But they did. I was imagining whoever even goes to a Blue Man Group concert? Nerds, that's who. People who like nerdy things. I'm supposing. It's odd entertainment. Not something I'd think of attending. And if invited, then I'd have to be convinced. If I did go, then the purpose would be only to be with my friends and watching something weird. What other purpose could there be? Who even goes?

Nerds!

* What the fuck is up with that audience?

   * Proto-Hipster Cunts.

   * Americans.

F. U., British Assholes. You like the show but not the show's audience. I like your site but not your site's British members. Not one bit. And if you had spoken that instead of writing it, you'd sound even worse. And you are the precise reason why I have zero desire to even visit your sad sick little island populated with babbling mongs. You are intolerable.

The video takes awhile to get going, but when it does, it really goes. I'm surprised Blue Man Group could find a nerdy woman who can match Donna Summer's vocals so well. I could be wrong, this looks like a Las Vegas sort of thing.

This video is ten years old and commenters love it.

I like the British Isles, but not the inhabitants.

Blue Man Group was (is?) a novelty act. Talented guys, but nothing I'd pay to go see. The singer's name is Annette Strean. I thought she sounded more like Debra Harry from Blondie, despite singing a Donna Summer song. Very pop sounding voice. She was in a band called Venus Hum that opened for Blue Man Group.

Stuff like this is why I like YouTube. You can see something interesting--entertaining even--without having to shell out the bucks and devote the time to going to a performance. I liked the video, but I wouldn't want to attend the event. Blue Man Group is still active.

I have never seen the Blue Man Group. But if someone gave me tickets to one of their shows, I suspect I would find myself getting into it. It is a novelty act, but they orchestrated a great performance.

Then again, as windbag said, there is YouTube.

Something is terribly wrong with me. That is very entertaining but I find the whole idea of paying a high ticket price to show up and be one of thousands in a screaming fawning crowd to be the most obnoxious thing ever and I want no part of it.

I didn't read windbag's comment yet. That works too. Youtube is a great way to see stuff without the indignity of showing up and ruining your eardrums.

Paying $$$ to go see Blue Man Group, that is not for me.

But if I got comped some tickets at a casino or an affordable group on deal to see them, it might be ok. It is some blue guys with a decent band and singer doing a show.

Dick is right (as usual). Why pay when you can watch it 10 years later on Yoohoo.
Windbag - Like everywhere else it depends on who you meet. Tourists in the British Isles usually only encounter the insufferable virtue signalling "elites" of the cities and a few outposters clustered around ex-urban tourist traps. YMMV but I've got great friends Over There.
