The bouncy young woman dancing at the very front near the end of the video caught my eye. She makes the others -- especially the men -- look so wooden and stiff.
I read their expecting a heavy downpour tonight. Stay dry my friend. We have freezing drizzle here (frizzle yo shnizzle). Thank the Lord I don't have to drive to work anymore.
I saw the Byrds in 1965 at the Prom Ballroom in St Paul MN. I was on the corner of Lexington and University. It's gone now, but it was a big deal for years.
The Prom Ballroom was a dance hall in Saint Paul, Minnesota, which opened in 1941 with a performance by Glenn Miller. The club played a diverse array of acts, ranging from rock to polka and jazz, and included acts like Count Basie and Lawrence Welk. The house orchestra was called the Jules Herman Orchestra. The Prom Ballroom was torn down in 1987.
We're so drenched! Of course there's not enough infrastructure to capture all this largesse from heaven. OH WELL. (Maybe after they're done building the bullshit train and paying off all of the PG&E damages and the unfunded liabilities, e.g., never.)

It's been raining here in SoCal for days now. I hope it doesn't turn into a big muddy disaster.

"I was" = "It was"
Either one works, AllenS. ;^)
I was there a bunch of times. Last time was in the late 1970s, where my then girlfriend's employer had their Christmas party at The Prom.

When the world was white.....oops, we're not supposed to notice that.
