Trump to visit Paris November 11th

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the armistice that ended WWI. The ceremony will be at the Arc de Triomphe with President Macron, it's expected to be a somber deal.

The article at Washington Times is headed by an attractive photograph of Trump with Macron clasping hands and both looking sternly with resolve into the camera lens.

Trump will be there to highlight American sacrifices then and since.

The article continues with more of Trump's travel plans to Ireland and later in the month to Buenos Aires, Colombia, and Pence's travel plans to Singapore and Papua New Guinea.

If Pence's going to Papua, it's probably in connection with the 75th anniversary of the Army's first big offensive in the Pacific, along with Guadalcanal.

"I wouldn't go to France, because France is no longer France."

Is the video supposed to be a putdown of Trump for saying the above? When the most popular name of newborns is Mohammed how much longer will there even be a France? Okay, the second most popular name after Marie.

During the cola wars, France was occupied by Pepsi for six months. In ancient times the French were known to surrender to thunderstorms. Bonus points if Trump can work either of those into his speech.

France is no longer France? Thank God!!

I hope everyone checked out EBL's post on cheering up Bubba at Aretha Frankin's memorial.
Do they hand out cigars at funerals? Or doughuts?
