Theory: Christine Ford

Today I read a theory in comments elsewhere about Ford that's not entirely whacked.

It began by puzzling why she spoke in a child's voice. Other commenters convinced she was being manipulative with her vocal fry and others noted her oversized glasses purposefully made her face appear childlike. They joked with photos of children wearing oversized eye glasses.

But one commenter said she had a relative who suffered dissociative syndrome, the commenter put in parentheses (split personality), who showed these same extremely manipulative tendencies and odd age inappropriate behavior switching between selves where one or more really is a child. What the commenter saw on television matched what she lived with for decades with this close relation, all the tribulation that this mixed bag of personality traits presented, where one really could be fearful of flying while another one isn't and where one really doesn't remember important things in the past both distant and near that everyone else knows, and where one side is aggressive political activist and another personality cluster is victim.

At any rate, her voice and her odd behavior of giggling inappropriately did not match her aging face and deep neck lines. We've seen real victims of sexual abuse. They never laugh when describing their ordeals. Never. Certainly not in front of a Senate Committee. Yet Ford did. Her behavior was odd to say the least and it's no surprise she pursued a profession in psychology and engaged in personal therapy.

So the personality she wasn't at the time may have wished she was being jumped by Kavanaugh?

Too bad we didn't know this 2 weeks ago.

Either way it is described; her behavior was that of a sociopath. To accept that she actually has a disorder; then we have to believe that all of it went unnoticed by the various professors that granted her a bachelor's degree, a master's, and then a Ph'D in Psychology. Oh, and then gave her a job educating other future psychologist, while suffering from a psychological debilitation.

Things have been going to hell for quite a while, and this furthered the process. Not good.

Remember all the student reviews that warned other students to stay the hell away from her class. Warned other students that she is unstable and nuts.
Those reviews were removed by the leftwing totalitarians who run democratic-google-facebook-corruption INC.

Actually, I think some good comes out of this. The Demos and their Lefty tactics have been put on display for all the world to see and I doubt it helps them in November. I also think a lot of ads are going to be based on all the high jinks we've seen.

Is this the handiwork of the God Emperor of the Cherry Blossom Throne? At least some of it, I think.

I didn't even know about the warning student reviews before reading Dickin's comment. But some Republicans or their staffs had to know about those reviews. So why weren't they brought up yesterday or the day before? I'm so out of patience with Republican refusal to play hardball.

They were scrubbed from the Net a couple of weeks ago, along with Dr Crazy's social media accounts and most of the school yearbooks for her years there.

In any case, they really wouldn't be relevant to the proceedings since you couldn't bring in her students and have the say she was a nut. Then somebody would ask how she graded them, etc.

This wasn't the usual screw-up. Grassley seems to have had a good plan.

Split personality is very rare, I understand. Some think it does not even exist. But the dissociative part...feeling apart from one's body, or whatever, is pretty common, I think. If people avoid her at work, she may have something Cluster B, like borderline.

And a person in that condition would likely seem really convincing when accounting history that actually is not true. If you disconnect your emotions from what you are saying and doing; it is pretty easy to then substitute any other emotion. Its how a sociopath can do something like drowning their own children while thinking they are actually helping them.

Something did happen to her, way back then, and a sane person would have left that memory in the dust but this is not a sane person. She has treasured the memory, hoarded it up, as grounds and excuse for failure, bad behavior, whatever is not up to standards. The only way she can truly achieve success is as a victim. So she knows that it wasn't Kavanagh. She never mentioned his name to her therapist in 2012 when his name was in the news. If it was important to bring him down she didn't make any move to keep him off the second highest court in the land for all this time. When his name came up again she thought she could throw a bomb and run for cover but it didn't work out like that. She got used by the Dems to delay the process in order to allow additional nuts to come out of their closets and finally had to testify and cover the Dems' lies as well as her own. Cruel! Truthiness is the hallmark of crazy leftist logic but it is hard to maintain over time, especially if you're not used to it. Those leftist hack lawyers really prepped the shit out of her but the baby voice and weird mannerisms were signs of the strain of maintaining truthiness, even and despite the cover provided by the Dems and the media. No reasonable person would be so dramatically affected by this ancient assault.

I didn't watch her testimony, but this person did and examined her body language. I don't give much credence to it, but it is fascinating.

Senator Flake made an agreement with Democrats to get the FBI to look into the allegations "for a week", presumably before the nomination vote. The agreement still has to be approved by the GOP Senate leadership.

The circus may go into overtime.

Living up to his name, as usual.

But the longer this goes on, the more people will get disgusted with the Dems.
Also, if more accusers come forward now they will just look like opportunistic pile-on losers.

I think they should revive the Senate tradition of caning. They should grab Feinstein's and wallop the tar out of her.

Don't count on it. If McConnell has the votes, Pence included, the show goes on.

Nice find, SS. I think they need to ram it through today, or ask Kavanaugh to step down. This is played out. They have to make the calculation of incensing female and other Dems into becoming demented and going to the polls in droves, if they ram it through. Of course the GOP votes anyway, and they would be highly motivated if the seat remains empty.

The Feds will do one more background check, as requested by Trump. So we're not talking some open-ended witch hunt, like Mule Ears is conducting.

The Demos do not get anything they can stretch out.

edutcher said...

PS Something just hit me. Trump is now personally involved. (maybe has been all along). Now the Demos are dealing with the Executive Branch, particularly the master.

Once it's done, they can't come back and say they didn't get it. They can't come after Brother Bret again (they'll try, but the God Emperor will be ready).

Another point raised is that it gives time for some polling data on all this. And I think the Demos will not like what they see.

I found the video fascinating, Some Seppo. Thank you for posting it.

"Cuteness and pretty pose" match what I noted. They are ID'd in the video as a manipulation technique, use to distract from what comes out of the mouth.

I did not find her credible.

OK, for all those interested, there WILL be a vote tomorrow to proceed. Flake and the rest of the flakes go along with this. It gets everybody on the record.

And the check may not last a week.

PS I'd rather die than trust anything off HotAir, but they're the only ones that have this.

I haven't even heard anything negative said about Stormy Daniels, and I'm sure that there must be a few scandals in her past. You will not hear or read anything about Dr. Ford. To say something negative about Dr Ford, you would need the courage of the first woman to come forward and speak about John Conyers' sexual misconduct.......It drives me crazy when I think about how Democrats are able to get away with misconduct for decades, and a Republican can have his life destroyed for decades old complaint........Question that will never be asked of Dr. Ford:: does she regret waiting thirty five years in coming forward? Does she think the punishment inflicted upon him is disproportionate to the alleged crime? Does she harbor any will will towards Justice Kavanaugh?

William said...

Women do come forward with complaints against Democrats but it is only with great reluctance and their stories are printed in disappearing ink. I can't ever remember anyone commenting on the courage of Paula Jones or Linda Tripp.
