The paths to learning are indeed many and varied. As it turned out, one of the sonsM needed pictures to provide the connect needed for him to learn to read, with Pokemon, FarSide and Calvin and Hobbes coming to the rescue.
With me, it's bizarre cartoons I didn't know existed that end up revealing the muse in museum!
I'm unfamiliar with textile steering wheel covers, but have taken to using a foam mask now (where required) that a commenter at Althouse recommended. It's light, easy to wear and and easy to breathe through. Not sure how much protection it provides but that's not ever been the key issue. The power of a clobber from a comic muse to conjure up if not initiate the production of more posts is formidable indeed!
