CNN is losing their collective mind

This morning I turned on the t.v. with sound. Results of a poll are given. The poll is obviously fraudulent, designed for bogus biased discussion. It asks who people feel could best protect America. A young attractive woman jumps in to answer and works up a lather about Trump's finger on the nuclear button. (There is no such thing) She raves and obviously emotionally unstable herself. The other panelist smile as if watching an enjoyable display as she says what they think in describing Trump too unstable to be president.

*click*

Good. Good. I think to myself. They've come undone. But I don't have to watch them. This is showing me and everyone else the network has its agenda, and that they are in full panic mode and that is good, very good, as people like myself dismiss them entirely. That bogus poll, that panel discussion, that specific woman compel me to vote Trump 10X as hard. After that now nothing can get through and Trump becomes even more attractive. Their argument works against them while they imagine themselves convincing. They're all clearly too unstable to vote. The network clearly corrupted with crackpots.

And yesterday was the exact same thing. Exactly the same. That makes a pattern. My apartment with door wide open to street sounds is quiet as a temple. Turn on the television and receive CNN ranting about Trump. Straight up ranting. Two mornings in a row. This is their morning material. I expect tomorrow the same thing. I'll be disappointed if it's not so. And television becomes more and more useless the more that it's captured by political partisans driven insane by Trump, oddly claiming that Trump is insane. Cartoons are more interesting, more useful, more valuable than CNN panel opinion faking as news. CNN has ruined itself. I imagine I'm not alone in this. I imagine their viewership attenuating as their freak out continues and increases over the next few months.

The elites and the media have no concept of Trumps support.

Here is something to piss off those who hate reality TV. Or two things actually.

They had a phone in poll on "Watch What Happens Live" the talk show with Andy Cohen the chief homo in charge of Bravo. They asked their viewers to vote on who they wanted Trump or Hillary.

Trump won 64% to 36%. This this past Wednesday. They were astounded. They thought that their viewer-ship was liberal and gay and women who should all turn up their noses at Trump. That moron Andy Cohen even said "Maybe I should stop making fun of Trump." Very unscientific of course. Not a poll of likely voters or registered voters or any of the qualifiers they use to manipulate data. Just an anonymous poll of regular people who you would think would hate Trump...but don't. Hmmmmmmmmm.

Lately I have been listening to old Youtube clips of my favorite radio show Opie and Anthony. One of them had Penn Gillette on from a couple of years ago when he was competing in the Celebrity Apprentice against Trace Atkins. I was curious to hear what he had to say about Trump. Well what he said was very interesting. He said his career exploded from being on the show. That people from all over knew him and were buying tickets and he was selling out appearances in places like a casino in Alabama. He basically made fun of toothless bubbas who came to see him and became fans because of Celebrity Apprentice. He talked about how the reach of the show was amazing. You know it was on for ten years right? Lots of people who don't follow politics followed the show and got their impression of Trump from the show. It is not going to change because of what George Will or Megyn Kelly or Paul Ryan have to say. So there are millions upon millions of regular people who think they know Trump and are not scared of the bullshit smokescreen that the media and the Democrats are throwing up.

It is the triumph of reality tv. Choke on that you elitist scumbags.

It is sort of like watching NBC's coverage of the Rio Olympics, you quickly realize it's better to put some Jobim on and call it a day.

There is a coordinated effort to try to finish Trump off. The Dems, Hillary and a good portion of the GOP are in on it.

Trump sort of helped them too, but Don Surber says he is learning. Getting the distraction of fighting with Ryan and the GOP was probably smart. Trump is also going on the attack with Hillary which is definitely a good idea.

Their are signs Hillary's bump may not be quite as dramatic as she hoped and Trump is almost matching her in donations now, most of which are small money donations (Hillary is courting the big money donors).

August is a strange month in politics. I recommend having lots of tomato salads while the tomatoes are at their peak.

The polls are just not reliable in this election. Plus current events are going to play a big part. All of them favor Trump. Refugee crime atrocities like this rape in Idaho. Terrorist attacks here and in Europe. Economic dislocation and unemployment.Hillary's emails that can have very embarrassing ....no even criminal elements. What if there is an email where she
mocks Obama. Or she admits that Benghazi was a terrorist attack and baldly states that they had to lie to the families to get Obama elected. Or something incriminating regarding the Clinton Foundation. This is not wishful thinking. This is the law of probabilities. All of the these things don't have to happen. Just one or two. Or even one if it is spectacular enough.

As you say the media and the cuck Republicans and the Democrats are all gunning for Trump. He only has a few commentors and the people. But that can be enough.

Evi L. Bloggerlady said...

Don't kid yourself Trump, the polls may not be reliable but Trump is definitely down over the last two weeks. The media and Hillary are really trying to finish him off. The Never Trumpers are less of a factor, more of saying "told you so."

But week won't finish Trump.

A big event may change things, but don't count on those emails doing it unless there is something devastating that Wikileaks is holding back. Of course, you have to worry that Putin and the Chinese may want to hold that "trump" card back to use for leverage against a President Clinton.

Even without something like that, Trump can win, but whether he wins or not really depends on Trump. He has a steep learning curve to figure out that what worked in the primaries is not the same as the general. The dynamics are not the same as he is finding out. But he is a lot savvier than his critics give him credit for, so I do expect some improvement.

This is an event-driven election. Machete attacks on police in Belgium might not make the news here, but the muzzies are simmering and the long hot summer has barely begun here.

Imagine if the murder rate in Chicago was accurately reported - what a concept, right? Or the fact that millions of illegals are still streaming across the border and the feds are telling them where to settle.

Yeah, I know, never going to happen.

But some people might notice. People who have to clean up the mess. Or widows of police officers killed by BLM.

I spent a long time talking to a couple of officers on patrol this morning. We discussed the absolute corruption of the democrat city we were in, the piss-poor management of police by the city council, the corrupt mayor-for-life and the thing that really pissed those guys off is that that yellow bastard won't even make eye contact with them nor attend the funeral of a fallen officer. There is a lot of anger out there -sure, they want their pensions, but they are mad as hell about the status quo of the rotten system of bribes and kickbacks. I was surprised by the candor they displayed.

We were good right up until the K9 sat down next to me. I thought he liked me. Oops.

Well the latest poll has it at a three point difference with all of the bad press and the piling on. Most people are not paying attention yet. Most people are not internet junkies like us. So it is all in front of us. That is the point that the people who are saying it is all over do not get. They can say it all they want. That doesn't make it true.

The debates will tell the tale. Especially if Hillary refuses to debate as I think she will. Because she will have a stroke if she debates. Watch and see.

edutcher said...

nicely done, sir, and so on the money.

I was stuck watching Commie news Net when they were trying to pull the Khan job and it was almost comical how they tried to make it sound like the entire world was now against him.

My thoughts. If they can't wipe him out before the debates, Cacklepants is done. She must be going downhill faster than we know.

Exactly. The polls haven't been reliable for years. I think if their archives are ever opened, we'll find they were highballing Willie and lowballing Dubya. And some more evidence of that 8 point skew - seems to be the magic number.

And, yes, this year is event-driven. We've stopped hearing the Khan man because of atrocities in Britain, Belgium, and Spain. 94 million not participating in a work force of 250 million. $400M ransom and proof it is ransom.

That's why E is right and they can't afford to have Trump as a viable candidate after Labor Day, so all the stops come out, but they can't stop the world from turning (part of the reason for the "endorsements" last night, a little breathing room, but I don't think that's why they were given).

Evi L. Bloggerlady said...

ed, if you are counting on the polls being skewed 8 points, you have already lost.

The real clear politics average as tracked fairly accurate (the deviation 3 +/-). But as Troop said, its early and people are not paying attention.

I assume that Trump and Hillary will not get knockouts in debates. She is actually ok in that format and she has the advantage that the media moderators will do everything they can to help her. But Trump has the chance to show that he is a viable alternative to her lying scheming crap, that that will be invaluable for him. He can't do a Mitt Romney and be strong in debate one and weak in 2 and 3.

The big thing is Trump constantly attacking Hillary. Ryan, Ted Cruz, Priebus, at this point that all that is distraction. That is red meat for you, but does nothing for the voters he needs to get on board to win. The attacks have to be Hillary all the time, secondary the press for being biased for Hillary.

I think Mike Pence is doing a decent job as #2 man for Trump. He defends the candidate and cleans up issues without diminishing Trump in the process (unlike Newt). So far so good on that.

Don Surber reported from a Trump rally in Wisconsin where he did exactly that. More of that please.

Trooper: Penn Gillette worked with Trump and seems to genuinely like him personally but it appears he's going to vote Libertarian.

Evi L. Bloggerlady said...

ed, I agree totally there are polls way more skewed then 8 out there, but the overall average is at least a standard for that moment in time. The trend can give you an idea where things are going, but like weather predictions (unless a candidate is completely blown out) they don't predict the future beyond a few weeks.

The interesting period will be September. Debates start and intense coverage happens then.

Nick Gillespie of Reason mag and TV recently interviewed Gillette. He was pretty tough on Trump. Althouse did a post on it this morning. I guess that's a coincidence that Gillette was mentioned here. Gillette says he was told that if he wanted to win the Reality show he would have to answer affirmative that he would vote for Trump as prez. He refused. The other guy won. It's a long interview but Gillette, albeit an asshole, is engaging.

It's obvious the MSM is going for the early KO or TKO of Trump. 3 months in politics is like 3 decades in real life.

ndspinelli said...

Correction: The Penn Gillette video I saw was linked on Twitter.

Trooper York said...

There was never a chance that Penn Gillette would endorse Trump. That is not the point. The point is that he had direct relationships with Trump and thinks of him kindly. Just lot a bunch of people who have had dealings with Trump. Not everyone of course. That is impossible. But most people who deal with Trump don't hate his guts like the cops, secret service, waiters and stewards do with Hillary.

Penn knew he was going to lose to Trace. The who clip was about how Trace is the All American Country Boy and Penn looked like one of them there New York Jeeewwwwwssss.

Here is the interview where he talks about Celebrity Apprentice. Not safe for work or use headphones because there is a lot of cursing, vulgarity, sexism and all of the other good things that you are not allowed to have anymore in Politically Correct America.

ndspinelli said...

Well. Gillette makes the opposite point in this recent interview. He compares both Trump and Hillary to Nixon, a person people don't like or want to hang with. The interview speaks for itself. He is scathing of Trump. He rips both Hillary and Trump, but obviously has more first hand knowledge of Trump. It's on Reason TV.

Trooper York said...

Of course he changes his tune. It is totally politically incorrect to support Trump.

There is a restaurant in Brooklyn that I have been in several times. The Schnitzel Haus in Bay Ridge had some decent German food and great beer. Back in the day I used to meet some friends there. Anyway in 2007 Trump sent them one of those ubiquitous celeb photos that every restaurant has on the wall that congratulated them on opening their restaurant. Well the social justice warriors can't have that. They said it was like having a photo of Hitler on the wall. Here is the story. To save his business from the attacks on Yelp and on the internet they had to take down the picture. They say they are apolitical and are not even going to vote. But I bet that they will. Who do you think they are going to vote for?

You have to fly under the radar. Penn is quoted here in real time before Trump was a candidate. Of course he is not going to endorse Trump. He doesn't have the balls. You know what? I don't blame him. He has to look out for his rice bowl. Nobody in the entertainment industry can afford to be associated with Trump unless their career is over like Scott Baio. So fair enough for Penn. Good luck to him.

I have been a bit more outspoken, but it costs me money. I threw out a guy a couple weeks ago who was all "Hillary is a saint, she did nothing wrong". Bullshit.

Today I threw out a voter registration hag - I asked her if I could register 10 times like she is. "That's illegal" she said, but didn't deny that she had 10 fake registrations.

Now that ID is no longer required here NC will massively go democrat. Wait and watch. The fraud will be staggering.

Next time I think I will just ask to sign up - name, Heywood Jablome. Mike Hock. Devantrarious X. And so on. Fuck them all.

Screw RCP.

My use of 8 as the skew is based on several pieces I've seen on the subject and it's their base right now. She gets a bump of 8 off the bat and may get more as needed, although it's interesting to note Al Reuters announced a change to their methodology specifically desingned to help Cacklepants and it got so much attention and disapproval, it looks like they've dropped it.

According to them, she was up 10 last week. Now she's only up 2.

Damn, there's that 8 points again.

We'll see. According to this, Trump is up 4 with massive black support.

The Dude said...

The only poll that counts is the election. The fraud will be staggering. I watch the commies working every week. I used to feel a bit more optimistic when it was not possible for every Tom, Dick and Jose to have multiple voter registrations (no card, no ID required when voting, just state your name) but now this state will go full retard.

edutcher said...

Keep one thing in mind. After last time, there are going to be a lot of people with their smartphones out tweeting, recording, getting it all down for the record and Trump's made a lot of noise about the election being rigged.

The Lefties don't like that. They expect the Rs to all be "gentlemen" and take it with bowed heads, but, if Trump starts contesting tallies and procedures, the whole rotten mess gets exposed and the country gets involved.

There's also the issue of the margin of fraud. For the last couple of cycles, we've all talked about the margin of victory and the margin of fraud. If Trump can gin up turnout - and that's his aim - he gets past the margin of fraud, so those poll numbers, if authentic, start to count for something.

edutcher said...

FWIW The LA Times poll has generated some interest because it hasn't been subject to the wild swings of the network polls.

Back to dead even.

What is the date of the Opie interview where he reportedly speaks glowingly of Trump? Jillette has been on often.

ndspinelli said...

Jillette is pushing a new book, Presto, where he explains how he lost 100lbs.

edutcher said...

Interesting development.

Trump has hired the marketing firm that won Brexit, it specializes in first-time and alienated voters.

Trooper York said...

The date is on the link I believe. It was in 2013 I think. The year Trace Atkins won.

ndspinelli said...

Well. I listened to the 51 minute interview of Penn Jillette from 2013 and it is consistent w/ his interview on Reason TV. He says some of the same unflattering stuff about Trump in BOTH interviews. The part of Trumps hair looking like urine cotton candy is a funny line in BOTH interviews. I heard NONE of the info we were told was in the interview about how great the Apprentice was. WTF? Propaganda is horseshit.

Allah's analysis of the Reuters poll is interesting

Good news for Trump, but...don't underestimate the risk.

Hillary will have the GOTV effort in full force in late October and November. Republicans tend to suck at that. But there is definitely hope and with a bit of discipline (the battle has to be Hillary all the time) he can defeat her.

ndspinelli said...

Evi, I can be macro or micro. It is so clear to me on the macro level the MSM are trying to knockout Trump early because that is the Clinton plan. This race will remain close and then one candidate will have a breakout in the Fall. The MSM media do not have the clout they did even 10 years ago. The interwebs are king which is why you see the liberal owners of Google, Facebook, Twitter, trying to control it. That's not going to happen. Brexit showed the world the MSM and elitists have lost their grip. This race is a bigger test than Brexit. It may be the KO for the MSM.
