"‘I’m Done’: CNN’s Brooke Baldwin Ends Segment After Clay Travis Says He Believes in ‘Boobs’"

Link to video

Via Instapundit:  During a panel discussion on the (ESPN) Jemele Hill controversy and the White House calling her to be fired, things took an entirely different turn when sports radio host and provocateur Clay Travis pointed out that he only believes in two things fully.

“I believe in the First Amendment and boobs,” Travis stated.

It took a beat, but host Brooke Baldwin wanted Travis to clarify what he had just said, asking him specifically if he actually sad “boobs.”

“Boobs, two things that never let me down, the first amendment and boobs,” Travis said. “Those are the two things I believe in absolutely in the country.”

"At CNN, Retracted Story Leaves an Elite Reporting Team Bruised"

Via Drudge:  Late on a Monday afternoon in June, members of CNN’s elite investigations team were summoned to a fourth-floor room in the network’s glassy headquarters in Midtown Manhattan.

A top CNN executive, Terence Burke, had startling news: three of their colleagues, including the team’s executive editor, were leaving the network in the wake of a retracted article about Russia and a close ally of President Trump. Effective immediately, Mr. Burke said, the team would stop publishing stories while managers reviewed what had gone wrong.

It was a chilling moment for a unit that boasted Pulitzer Prize winners and superstar internet sleuths, and had been introduced at the beginning of the year as the vanguard of CNN’s original, high-impact reporting. Its mission statement — “Seek truth. Break news. Hold the powerful accountable.” — invoked the sort of exhaustive reporting that has become an increasingly coveted skill for news organizations in the Trump era.

But within months of its introduction, the unit, CNN Investigates, had been rocked by damaging reporting errors — including another flawed story about Mr. Trump and Russia earlier in June — and its mistakes had disturbed network executives who were already embroiled in a public feud with the White House.

The retracted story and ignominious exits of three prominent journalists was an embarrassing episode for CNN, particularly at a time when there was widespread mistrust in the media and Mr. Trump was regularly attacking the press. Two months later it remains an illuminating chapter in the network’s effort to carry out the meticulous, time-consuming work of investigative journalism within the fast-paced, ratings-driven world of 24-hour cable news.

CNN: Everyone Who Voted For Trump Is A ‘White Supremacist By Default’

Via Twitter: Trump voters helped advance white supremacy by giving them room to operate, CNN reported based on the assertions of others in a piece headlined, “‘White Supremacists by default’: How ordinary people made Charlottesville possible.”

“It’s easy to focus on the angry white men in paramilitary gear who looked like they were mobilizing for a race war in the Virginia college town,” CNN reported. “But it’s the ordinary people — the voters who elected a reality TV star with a record of making racially insensitive comments, the people who move out of the neighborhood when people of color move in, the family members who ignore a relative’s anti-Semitism — who give these type of men room to operate.”

CNN put the weight of the assertion on the views of what they described as “activists, historians and victims of extremism,” but made no visible effort to question their assertions or provide a counter point of view. Fordham University professor Mark Naison’s, for example, is quoted prominently in the piece accusing tens of millions of Americans of being white supremacists.

We are a country with a few million passionate white supremacists — and tens of millions of white supremacists by default,” Naison told CNN. He’s a political activist and history professor. He compared all Trump voters to “nice people” who facilitated the horrific violence of the Holocaust and the genocide in Rwanda by looking the other way.

(Btw. CNN will the first to say this narrative does not apply to Muslim jihadies)

Master Troll Class!

“It’s hard to imagine this as anything other than a political rick-roll,” anchor Jake Tapper .

Another master class in political troll-fu was administered by Donald Trump on the biased scumbag media. After the way they cut away from the Angel Moms at the Republican Convention Trump knew that they only way he would get coverage of his endorsement by Medal of Honor winners was to bait and switch. So he had the CNN and FOX cameras running while he talked about his hotel and then had generals and admirals and Medal of Honor winners who were happy to endorse him. All the while the scumbag press was waiting for him to apologize for being a "Birther."

Which he didn't do. Never apologize because it is a sign of weakness. Just as it is a sign of weakness to call David Duke deporable because then the media game is who else is deporable. The Alt-Right? Milo? His voters? You don't play their game. You stick it up their ass. They have no choice but to cover his campaign.

He had an event in New Hampshire where the press was a half  hour late. He started without him and mocked these worthless scumbags. What they do? Here are some quotes:

“This is completely ridiculous and unacceptable. This has gone on for way to [sic] long and it’s time we take a stand,” said one member of the traveling press.
“The press corps is at a boiling point here and was more frustrated tonight than ever,” said another.
“There’s the want to do something among traveling press of course — being constantly mocked and demonized is awful — but there’s the competing feeling that news organizations have almost let too much slide to have any bargaining power at this point,” said a third member of Trump’s traveling press corps."
Awwww poor babies. What have they done but demonized Trump 24/7? Not ust Trump. Bush, McCain and Romney before him. Trump is not a pussy like them so he will troll them and make them look like the biased scum that they are. They will be freaking out and attacking him even more. Regular people will discount them because they have overplayed their hand. They started out a 100% anti-Trump and they can't ratchet it up anymore than they already have without looking ridiculous.
This is what Trump is best at. He will bambozzle the press and get his message out to the people over their biased scumbag heads. While concern trolling Hillary as she drools and collapses at the podium during the debate. They are starting to panic.
Too bad I can't eat popcorn anymore.

CNN is losing their collective mind

This morning I turned on the t.v. with sound. Results of a poll are given. The poll is obviously fraudulent, designed for bogus biased discussion. It asks who people feel could best protect America. A young attractive woman jumps in to answer and works up a lather about Trump's finger on the nuclear button. (There is no such thing) She raves and obviously emotionally unstable herself. The other panelist smile as if watching an enjoyable display as she says what they think in describing Trump too unstable to be president.

*click*

Good. Good. I think to myself. They've come undone. But I don't have to watch them. This is showing me and everyone else the network has its agenda, and that they are in full panic mode and that is good, very good, as people like myself dismiss them entirely. That bogus poll, that panel discussion, that specific woman compel me to vote Trump 10X as hard. After that now nothing can get through and Trump becomes even more attractive. Their argument works against them while they imagine themselves convincing. They're all clearly too unstable to vote. The network clearly corrupted with crackpots.

And yesterday was the exact same thing. Exactly the same. That makes a pattern. My apartment with door wide open to street sounds is quiet as a temple. Turn on the television and receive CNN ranting about Trump. Straight up ranting. Two mornings in a row. This is their morning material. I expect tomorrow the same thing. I'll be disappointed if it's not so. And television becomes more and more useless the more that it's captured by political partisans driven insane by Trump, oddly claiming that Trump is insane. Cartoons are more interesting, more useful, more valuable than CNN panel opinion faking as news. CNN has ruined itself. I imagine I'm not alone in this. I imagine their viewership attenuating as their freak out continues and increases over the next few months.

CNN Chris Cuomo, "We're the biggest ones supporting her campaign"

This is old but still quite relevant,  June 2014, Chris Cuomo  is explaining that by delaying announcing her run for the presidency that Hillary was "freezing pockets" meaning donors would be holding back for her announcement making their money unavailable to other candidates. Then in a giddy moment of unchecked honesty Cuomo admits that they have been giving Hillary a free ride all along and that they are Hillary's biggest supporters.

CNN assigns #Brexit blame

“Listen…the reason people voted, the majority of them, and I can play you what was said, was to stop immigration into this country,” she said, as Hannan continued to insist that he himself had not backtracked on his comments, pointing out that he had written a book advocating reasons to vote Leave but hadn’t actually said what she accused him of saying.
Amanpour pressed on. “Would you agree then that the Leave campaign’s main objective, in terms of sovereignty, was to stop the free movement [of people]?”
Hannah grinned in obvious disbelief, and asked Amanpour to retract the accusation of backtracking. She refused.
“Then people at home can Google this, they can look at what I’ve said, and they can see whether it is fair for you to accuse me of having done a U-turn,” Hannan said, as Amanpour continued to talk over him.

More Clinton appearance of conflict of interest

"CNN Debate Moderator Was Member of Clinton Global Initiative"
The Clinton Foundation later told Mediaite that none of these journalists were asked to pay the $20,000 membership fee required of  members. However, it's safe to say that access to big name journalists was a key selling point for paying Clinton Global Initiative members. In a nutshell, Anderson Cooper helped Hillary Clinton raise money, and now he's presented as an impartial moderator for tonight's debate.
Then there is this story at the Washington Post.... "While at State, Clinton chief of staff held job negotiating with Abu Dhabi"
During her first four months at the State Department, [Cheryl] Mills also held another high-profile job: She worked part time at New York University, negotiating with officials in Abu Dhabi to build a campus in that Persian Gulf city.
At the State Department, she was unpaid in those first months, officially designated as a temporary expert-consultant — a status that allowed her to continue to collect outside income while serving as chief of staff...
Mills reported her NYU income on public federal disclosure forms. She did not reference the Abu Dhabi element of her role on the forms, which ask only that employees identify the sources and amounts of their outside income....
Under ethics laws, employees are prohibited from participating in matters that would have a direct and predictable effect on themselves or an outside employer.
Mills said she didn’t “recall any issues” at the State Department that would have required her to consider recusing herself and said she would have consulted with the ethics office if one had come up....
In recent years, more than 100 State Department employees annually have typically been granted a designation that allows them to hold outside employment, including scientists, foreign affairs officers and Abedin, a senior adviser. But experts said that a dual employment arrangement is rare at the chief-of-staff level and that the nature of Mills’s nongovernmental work made her situation even more atypical.
“This is exceedingly unusual, perhaps exceptional in the history of modern federal bureaucratic leadership. I’ve never seen it before,” said Paul C. Light, an NYU professor who has studied government employment in depth...
After Clinton spoke at an NYU graduation ceremony in New York in May 2009, a top university official e-mailed Mills to thank her for her “help and guidance” in getting Clinton to the event, according to correspondence recently released by the State Department.
In 2011, Mills forwarded to Clinton an e-mail she had received from a university official describing a new NYU campus planned for Shanghai.

While most signs point to that Boeing 777 being lost to the sea, CNN is also lost, but still on the air.
