The Washington Post catches up with Hillary's hidden emails

"Emails reveal how foundation donors got access to Clinton and her close aides at State Dept."
A sports executive who was a major donor to the Clinton Foundation and whose firm paid Bill Clinton millions of dollars in consulting fees wanted help getting a visa for a British soccer player with a criminal past.

The crown prince of Bahrain, whose government gave more than $50,000 to the Clintons’ charity and who participated in its glitzy annual conference, wanted a last-minute meeting with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

U2 rocker and philanthropist Bono, also a regular at foundation events, wanted high-level help broadcasting a live link to the International Space Station during concerts.

In each case, according to emails released Monday from Hillary Clinton’s time as secretary of state, the requests were directed to Clinton’s deputy chief of staff and confidante, Huma Abedin, who engaged with other top aides and sometimes Clinton herself about how to respond...

The disclosures also cast new doubts on Clinton’s past claim that she turned over all her work-related email from her private server to the State Department for eventual release to the public. (more)
Flashback 2/26/1997, CNN:  Lincoln Bedroom Guests Gave $5.4 Million
President Bill Clinton's guests in the Lincoln Bedroom gave a total of at least $5.4 million to the Democratic National Committee during 1995 and 1996, according to a study for CNN by the Campaign Study Group.

Among the biggest donors were investor Dirk Ziff, who gave $411,000; movie producer Steven Spielberg, $336,000; retired businessman William Rollnick, $235,000; and Hollywood mogul Lew Wasserman, $225,000.

The CNN study found 24 overnight White House guests who gave $100,000 or more to the DNC. CNN's $5.4 million figure does not include money given to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, or any state party committees.
Yes, but Comey did say mean rea rules. Nothing to see here.

I'm a little fuzzy on what went on in Little Rock, but if my math is correct, the Clintons are asking for a 4th try at a chance to 'grow' their economy.

It was during the Clinton years they came up with that 'grow the economy' turn of phrase.

Give us a 4th shot and we will make it into the billionaires bracket.

All this bad news about Clinton and CNN is running a campaign for her. (Check out CNN's front page and behold the Clinton Campaign in full swing)

Joe Biden has to be wondering... how come nobody told me about this.

I could have been a contender.

The pro Hillary concern trolls are really earning their money. In every thread telling us that Trump is spending all this time and money and effort because he is in cahoots with Hillary.

Nothing Trump does will ever be enough. Give a great speech about policy....don't matter. Raise tons of money...it is never enough. Step back and let the anti-Hillary stuff like these emails percolate....hey even though that is what they say they wanted somehow that is a mistake.

There is plenty of time in the game. Nothing is decided. Trump is just doing what the concern trolls have been calling for months now. He is shutting up and letting the news be about Hillary's emails. If he unveils his immigration speech or another Law and Order speech or does just about anything than that is what the press will talk about. So he is stepping back a little to let the conversation be about play for play.

It will never be enough. Sad.

The debates will tell the tale. Trump is going to put the pressure on Hillary and she is going to fold. If she doesn't have a stroke then and there. The moderators will try and put their thumbs on the scale. But Trump will call them on it then and there and not be a useless cuck like Romney. He has laid the groundwork for this with his canceling the FOX debate and attacking various media blowhards like Joe the Intern Killer.

Of course when he attacks Hillary face to face harder than any Republican pussy ever has he will be working in cahoots with her because calling her a corrupt stroke victim is what you do when you are trying to get her elected.

Lunatics!

I just read that Hillary opened a pickle jar on the Tonight Show last night to prove she's in great health. I kid you not. Anyway, I also read that a mic was right next to the pickle jar but no one heard the cover pop!

What's fascinating is the WaPo is talking about this at all. this was all supposed to be suppressed, but now even outfits like Puffington are calling for the Global Slush fund to be shut down.

Gotta love the 'Net

Another point to note is the significance of the Monmouth poll (which the Colorado Boobird has failed to note, falling back on the same old tired wheezes about Trump). That it was called out, verified, embarrassed, and forced to put up an honest survey shows a) the polls are crooked and b) Trump is winning.

This is at least as significant as the WaPo piece.

Just like they balanced the budget and delivered surpluses.

I DESPISE spin and people who spin. You know, the Carville like assholes who just spin 24/7. They try and bully anyone who might have something the least bit negative to say about their candidate. For me, it doesn't matter if these fucking bullshitting, spinning, assholes are left or right politically. They all need to STFU and get a fucking life..or a hobby. Or get some FUCKING EXERCISE.

I see the Vince Foster FBI file is missing. Can't blame Sandy Berger on this one.

Guess who's decided to go to Cajun country?

I guess the skew doesn't bend that far.

Evi L. Bloggerlady said...

Nick: There is always spin. Always. I find it annoying too, but you just have to be educated and honest with yourself not to get suckered by it.

We see self delusion and close mindedness from both sides in this election. We have to pick who would be best for the country.

edutcher said...

Make that all sides.

Fuck you peeper. Nobody is more hated then you in blogs through out the net. Entire new blogs have been set up to get away from your tireless harassment.

If you think I am going to let the ravings of pro Hillary trolls stand without reply than you are as fucked in the head as your girl Hillary. The anti-Trump troll has hit every post today spining as you put it. They are entitled to a reply.

Take your own advice and find something else to do. There must be a window you can peep in. Seriously.

Evi L. Bloggerlady said...

Is Nick pro Hillary?

I did not think there was undo spinning in this thread. So I don't want to be lumped in on criticizing what you said Troop about the debates because I hope he is really successful in them. I thought Nick was making a general observation about spin and I responded to it.

Troop, I am happy with what Trump is doing. I was not happy with how things were going immediately following the Democrat convention. But you know what, whether I am happy or not doesn't matter. I am going to vote for him. I despise his opponent.

It is those other people who matter. The ones supposedly undecided and not fully committed to Crooked Hillary and her crooked pickled ways.

I still say this was all baked in the cake months ago.

The Monmouth thing shows glaringly the polls are phony and picking up Ailes along with Bannon and Conway was hideously fortuitous. You can bet Ailes told Trump to off-load some of those relief supplies himself (we're talking 90 degrees w/ 75% humidity).

However it shakes, we have 2 sets of polls - and only one is honest.

Evi L. Bloggerlady said...

ed, regardless of how things are or are not, I hope Trump can squeeze the pickle juice out of Crooked Hillary. My fear is the country is too far gone and too easily manipulated.

I look forward to the debates.

Evi L. Bloggerlady said...

Come on Troop, aren't you exaggerating a bit:
Nobody is more hated then you in blogs through out the net...

That can't be true. Doesn't that go the kept land boy and internet troll who can't be named?

What about the crazy Madison half-nurse?

ndspinelli said...

Evi, You are intellectually honest. The default position for some is they play the "Your girl Hillary" demonize game. EVERYONE knows it's horseshit. Some care nothing of credibility or intellectual honesty. They just bully, bullshit, and demonize. I'll say it again. You can pretty much throw a small blanket over all of us here. Fuck, even RITMO hates Hillary. If the Trump worshipers want to battle REAL Hillary lovers, they should branch out. There are plenty elsewhere. Stop building straw men and women here. It's destructive to this blog.

Evi L. Bloggerlady said...

I find it tedious that if I question anything about what Trump is doing, I get chided about the "one true Ted." I try to wake people up this is about persuading low information voters that it is better to go Trump than Hillary. I try to do that with my posts. The frustrating part is if Trump supporters tried to reach out and really persuade those undecideds they might actually win this thing. Although the odds are against him and time is running out, he could win this still.

Do I get any credit for that? Fuck no. I am just told how stupid I am for thinking the polling may be right and how (at the same time) the election fix is in and Crooked Hillary will steal the election. How Romney lost because of fraud.

Well if that is the case (about the fraud), what's the point, Trump has already lost. No doubt there was some fraud and maybe it was even enough to throw a state or two for Obama...but Obama still would have beaten Romney. The fraud that really defeated Romney was the media shilling for Obama, just like the media is shilling for Crooked Hillary now.

Trump is the candidate and I am voting for him because I want Hillary to be defeated. That is about all I can do. I hope she melts down in the debate.

Hillary's going to tour the Louisiana flood? If she wants to outdo Trump she should roll up her pantsuit legs and wade into the water, although she'd need two strong men leaning on her to keep those cankles from floating to the top.

Did I mention this today? Or yesterday?

And I never said you were stupid, but I did say you take an awful lot at face value from people you say are untrustworthy and that mystifies me.

If you're that sure it's over, you should have said so sooner. The odds are anything but against him and, if anything, time is more his friend than the Beast's.

All I see are a lot of straw men, to the point I'd swear someone was putting you up to it. At least you understand what one is; she certainly doesn't.

Lem, that's exactly what this is about. The continued consolidation of power and wealth, the very antithesis of what this verminous harpy has been campaigning against by her vacuous and odious precepts of the rich having to pay their fair share, but of course what she really means, is that the rich have to pay their fair share to her to gain access. She's literally using these phrases and I assure you she is mockingly laughing inwardly that she knows who going to pay their fair share because in doing so means access to her and as POTUS she'll and her crypt keeper husband will make an order of magnitude more money than they ever have.

How is it that no ever wonders how politicians become multi-millionaires leaving office but were effectively paupers going in? There is nothing you can do about this woman anymore, she's untouchable at this point since her protection is complete. Obama won't touch her even though he hates her. DOJ wont' touch her because their continued jobs are on the line. The FBI has been effectively neutered by the DOJ and the crime will keep rolling on. She is basically an unindicted criminal. If she was in the Philippines, she'd be dead by now for the type corrosive corruption she's been allowed to use.

Evi L. Bloggerlady said...

ed, I thought you had a Ted comment yesterday, but maybe it was the day before. You seem to have this thing for Cruz. I am not sure why.

I do not care you have a different opinion. What I really find annoying is when you make stuff up I didn't say or come up with inferences that really say more about your prejudices than mine.

You can take this at face value, because it is true: I Want Trump To Win. I am going to vote for him.

Why don't you work your magic trying to convince people who are voting for Hillary or are still unsure why they are voting for? Don't waste your time with me.

Evi, You're preachin' to the choir, my friend.

E, we get it. You and nd and the Colorado Boobird have some weird little tontine going where you all whine about the same stuff and call us all rubes and set up the same straw men (even though one of you doesn't know what one is even when it's laid out for her) and tell us how we're driving Trump supporters away because... Trump.

OK, it's officially past boring now. You'll tell us all how you gave in to the inevitable and went Hillary and we're all supposed to be surprised.

The game is over. You lose.

While you will be probably insufferable if he wins, I still hope he wins.

Well hell. My thoughts.

Ed, you're a bore. You're an astute man, but it makes no difference what knowledge, wisdom, insight, you bring. You've pandered all that away. Now it's just the same 45 on the turntable with auto return, the only choice volume or mute.

AA is the same too, for me.

Troop, you're the same, just different. Your personal besmirching of AA/bags/nd, anyone who displays a thought that doesn't agree with yours, is also boring.

I've yet to see here anyone who isn't voting for Trump (except for Ritmo, who'll vote some third party worthless bullshit).

So what's the fucking deal?

Purity? I don't get it. Why all this animus amongst folks who basically are on the same page.
