Melania Trump's Diary

So another debate is finished. We are getting really tired of all of these silly debates. One after another. The same gotcha questions from the same idiot journalists. Little Marco Jumping up and down like he has to pee. Cigar Store Indian Ted telling us the one true way to handle everything because he got it straight from the burning bush. The burning Jeb Bush I bet. And of course the Governor. What a live wire he is. He keeps bringing up all of his vast Radio Shack Experience in government. I just don’t think that advising Thomas Jefferson on the Louisiana Purchase is all that relevant these days if you know what I mean?

The real action was after the debate. It seems that some journalist bunny is claiming that Donald’s campaign manager grabbed her arm and threw her down on the floor and did the Mexican Hat Dance on her cooze. Right. It seems that this news bunny works for Briebart.com so we couldn’t understand why she is causing this big problem since they are in the tank for us. But then we investigated. It seems that she has been fired from a couple of other websites and her boyfriend is one of the chief nerds at National Review who has been leading a jihad against Donald for months. Now I find that hard to believe since we thought  that all of those National Review types were sword swallower's and Little Marco Fans but what are you gonna do? Now Corey has claimed that he never touched but she has made a police report. So it is going to court. If it is bullshit the way we think it is it will be tough for her. Well what’s the big deal? She can always get a job at the Rolling Stone Magazine to make up phony cases. Maybe she can claim she was raped on camera this time. She can carry a mattress into all of the press conference and become famous that way. It worked for Megyn Bloody Kelly. Being an imaginary abuse victim of Donald Trump. That’s a growth industry.

Big News today! Dr. Ben Carson is endorsing Donald. DYNOMITE! I love Ben. I feel almost like he is my uncle. Plus I love his wife Weezy. I know they thought they could win and that they were going to be moving on up to a deluxe apartment in the sky. But it just didn’t happen. Our voters would rather elbow a schvartzer in the muss than vote for one no matter how holy he might be. I do know that Donald wants Ben to be part of our team. Maybe he can get him to be the Surgeon General. Or at the very least he can stand on the lawn. Dressed in his Surgeon General outfit. I doubt he would wear the traditional jockey suit. We could start a trend.

I have to go. Nancy Reagan’s funeral is on. I want to see what Hillary and Laura and all the girls are up to out there. And what they are wearing. I bet none of them are rocking the bra and short shorts look I prefer. I bet there will be a lot of drinking going on. I can’t wait to join them.

I am going to be one great first lady.

I don't know enough about the H-1B program to take a side in it, but this is worth considering:

"How does the H-1B program affect the employment and wages of American citizens? Actually the program raises native worker wages and has no significant effects on native employment according to three economists in their 2014 National Bureau of Economic Research working paper. There was one downside - the inflow of H-1B workers into a city tends to raise the cost of housing. From the study:

We find that a one percentage point increase in the foreign STEM share of a city’s total employment increased wages of native college educated labor by about 7-8 percentage points and the wages of non-college educated natives by 3-4 percentage points. We find non-significant effects on the employment of those two groups. These results indicate that growth in STEM workers spurred technological growth by increasing productivity, especially that of college educated workers. They also experienced increasing housing rents, which eroded part of their wage gain.

Additionally, a 2016 survey of 900 tech innovaters by the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation found that ...

...immigrants comprise a large and vital component of U.S. innovation: 35.5 percent of U.S. innovators were born outside the United States. Another 10 percent of innovators have at least one parent born abroad. Over 17 percent of innovators are not even U.S. citizens, yet are nonetheless making in valuable contributions to U.S. innovation. Immigrants born in Europe or Asia are over five times more likely to have created an innovation in America than the average native-born U.S. citizen.

Trump's call to shut down the H-1B visa program is just the sort of zero-sum thinking that really will ensure slower job growth and make Americans poorer."

Yeah, "Reason magazine" is an unbiased source. LOL! They're been pushing for Open borders, outsourcing, and "free" trade for 20 years.

They should call the magazine - "I've got mine, fuck you".

That may be Reason's opinion at the end, but the underlying data is what it is. It makes sense to me, and most protectionism is zero-sum thinking that backfires. It's very similar to Occupy wherever type thinking.
