You know in the closing credits where the Flintstones stop at a drive in restaurant and pick up a giant rack of ribs? During my entire childhood, I had no idea what it was they had thrown in the their car. I never saw a rack of ribs - we never ate them - so I thought it was some kind of giant seashell and I never asked anybody what it was. As an adult I finally got it, but not until I had eaten ribs myself.
I sometimes play the Flintstones opening credits over our paging system at work. On Fridays at quitting time everybody hears the whistle blow and "YABA DABA DOOOOOO!"
