“I realize that contempt is not a big deal to our attorney general, but it is important that we have proper oversight,” Gohmert said.
“You don’t want to go there, buddy! You don’t want to go there, okay,” Holder shot back.
“I don’t want to go there?” the Texas Republican responded.
“No,” Holder said, leaning forward in his seat.
“About the contempt?” Gohmert asked.
“You should not assume that that is not a big deal to me. I think that it was inappropriate, I think it was unjust. But never think that that was not a big deal to me. Don’t ever think that,” Holder said pointing at Gohmert.

Eric Holder to GOP rep: ‘You don’t want to go there, buddy!’
"In the midst of questions about the Justice Department’s failure to divulge documents about the Holy Land Foundation terror funding trial, (Representative) Gohmert made a side comment about how the House of Representatives found Holder in contempt in 2012 for refusing to turn over documents related to the Fast and Furious gun-running scandal."

"That's SENATOR Buddy to you, Mr. Holder."
Holder is disgusting. He should be in prison.
Squirrel. Who cares whether the contempt citation mattered to Eric HOlder? Or whether he thinks it was "just" or "socially just" or whatever.
The issue is Eric Holder's Justice Department's pattern and practice of withholding information from Congressional oversight.
Not prison but certainly he should resign. His ability to follow the constitution and the rule of law is ideologically selective.
I'm lawless, I'll go on being lawless, I spit on the law, but don't you dare imply I take the law lightly!

No doubt a crime to be charged with and indicted of can be decided afterward.
I will be willing to bet that Eric Holder will be receiving a pardon from Barack Obama before he leaves office.
He makes John Mitchel look like Saint Francis of Assisi.
Holder tried a little of the Chicago Way with Gohmert, but he forgot Gohmert was from Texas and those people go armed.

Gee, I think selective enforcement of the law to benefits his political pals constitutes misfeasance in office and thus is an impeachable and jailable offense.
My favorite part is were the guy goes, "You're stonewalling. It doesn't take this long to comply with a request for papers, the same papers already provided defense of terrorists." And the other guy goes, "I think we promised..." "I DIDN'T ASK YOU WHAT YOU PROMISED I SAID YOU BLEW US OFF AND DIDN'T COMPLY" the first guy shot back.
Frankly, if the first guy demands the same papers provided defense of terrorists and he is told where online the information on those papers resides, then that is complying with the request, and the demand for papery papers made out of paper is splitting hairs and being a demanding little shit, unless the site-locatioin information is purposefully wrong and the sought after information is not actually there, then yeah.

Note, O Dearest of Dipshits, that you still could not manage to call it a "crime". Because it isn't one. There would be no end to the number of people you could accuse of "selective enforcement".
So consider it a tit for tat. Repuglicans believe their job is to be paid by the public to subvert the interest and gain greater favor with big business (i.e. "traditional corruption"), and you can accuse Demos of the infinitely malleable so-called charge of "selective enforcement".
This will continue going around until you manage to elect Republicans with the backbone to take their legislative jobs seriously, or you can continue trying to fight shorter and shorter-term, meaningless skirmishes until their influence fades into an oblivion.
My guess is it'll be the latter.

Yeah I think that part's a draw, unless there is more to it, like all the sought after information is not actually there, or something else we aren't allowed to see.
But I didn't think Holder should act like such a bitch with the "good luck with your asparagus" comment at the end (not shown in this edit). He should be more disciplined, although I don't know about the history with these two.
A couple of pols playing my dick is bigger than yours. At the taxpayer's expense no doubt.
Forgive the Teahadiclans, phx. They don't even know what they want.
