Oversight chairman moves to censure IRS chief

Fox News:  The chairman of the top House investigative panel introduced a measure Wednesday to censure IRS Commissioner John Koskinen -- and remove him from office without a pension -- in the latest bid by Republicans to pressure him into being more cooperative in their probe of the 2013 IRS targeting scandal.
Rep. Jason Chaffetz, head of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, is seeking Koskinen’s resignation or removal for what he calls an alleged “pattern of conduct inconsistent with the trust and confidence placed in him as an officer of the United States.”
If censured, Koskinen, who became commissioner in 2013, would also forfeit his government pension and other federal benefits.

I think it should happen, but then I thought that well over a year ago. To do it now is rather pathetic.

Maybe the Whigs are beginning to develop some principles in light of the likelihood they may be working for someone who might actually want the law enforced.

It might also be the Whigs are beginning to realize they had best give the populace some sort of reason why they should be re-elected since the last 2 years have failed to provide any.

A President Hillary would restore those benefits plus add bonus. He shows exactly the sort of party loyalty she cultivates.

Just more Hot air from the Republicans. BTW, Paul "real conservative" Ryan is now working with the Democrats to bail out Puerto Rico.

Even Limbaugh has been saying for a year that the Republicans have no desire to fight Obama or investigate anything. Its all dog and pony show so the Repubs can go back to their districts and they were "fighting".

Were I a modern day EL CID I'd have him grabbed by the scruff of the neck, forcibly dragged into the nearest open field and summarily shot.

Koskenin is the prototypical lifetime member of the gold plated bureaucratic executive club. This rat faced beady eyed bastard has been snaking his way through government for decades.
