What do they (Chinese) have to do to get the tariffs eliminated?

The seven deadly sins.
1) stop stealing our intellectual property
2) stop forcing technology transfer
3) stop hacking our computers to steal our trade secrets
4) stop dumping into our markets and putting our companies out of business
5) stop their state owned enterprises from heavy subsidies
6) stop the fentanyl
7) stop the currency manipulation

These are all structural changes, you pathetic mealy-mouth little dick.

Peter Navarro delivers the smackdown to the insufferable stuffed ladies nylon puppet Fox News propagandist nepotode Chris Wallace.

I might have accidentally added one of those little clauses to what Navarro said.

This is what happens when a man with advanced I.Q. is set against a retarded propagandist with a big fat chattering mouth that never stops. Wallace keeps interrupting Navarro's answers, "let me talk, let me talk, let me talk" as he speaks through his entire interview. He doesn't want to hear anything that Navarro has to say. He wants only to deliver his Wall Street supported talking points. Wallace is a dope. Of the worst kind. Who thinks he's entitled to his haughty position as mouthy "journalist."

In comments someone says, "I like Wallace. He asks the hard questions!"

Well, you're a dope too. There were no hard questions. Only straight up Wall Street propaganda.

Tariffs on Chinese goods are 25%.

The graph taken unapologetically straight from Goldman Sachs Global Investment is 4% points stretched upward across 5 years. If you compressed the vertical axis and drew it to include all 25% percentage points of real tariffs then both lines would disappear into one nearly straight horizontal line that ends where it begins. And the real question would be, "what happened to the other 21% points? Who's prevailing in this trade war?"

I learned how graphs are drawn bear on what you want it to say very early in life. So all graphs are suspect. And this graph clearly wants you to read that tariffs against Chinese goods are harmful to the American consumer while leaving off the seven deadly sins cited by Navarro held against American manufacturing and American economy and American workers. The graph is simultaneously wide-eyed and myopic. The graph itself is clear propaganda and Wallace is too stupid to know that.

I can never forget the flippant arrogance of one wealthy professor at Regis College who encouraged the exfiltration of American manufacturing. "Let them have all our manufacturing. Send them the factories. Let them (Central and South America) do all the manufacturing as we move into technology." Meaning service industry, meaning shifting and retraining and retiring the entire American work force to suit his conceit. He flatly did not care about American manufacturing. To him the rust belt was a good thing. He had nothing to say about the massive drug epidemic that caused. He saw a world where Americans are all programmers and clerks. This is what he inculcated into his class.

Ew, I hate him to pieces.

Apparently we were supposed to admire him for his obvious attained wealth. His Italian suits, his expensive shoes and his European luxury automobile. Instead we were disgusted by his cavalier insouciance.

Goldman Sacks has invested billions in overseas manufacturing while indifferent to American pain. For the last half century the U.S. economy was host to global parasitic wealth exfiltration. China (and Mexico et al) grew its middle class while American middle class shrank. President Trump is the first and only president to say "stop!" He adds all previous presidents were part of this process.

The United States was sucker to keep letting the process continue of investing overseas instead of investing in the United States. U.S. international companies don't care about the American rust belt. They're heavily invested in its continuation. The process amounted to an endless Marshal Plan trade program that Trump is reversing, the decades long multi-generational advantage that the E.U and Asia, especially China are loathe to give up.

The rise of the Chinese economy occurred during this period and as such they have no comprehension whatsoever of economic history without institutional advantages. They've never competed with the U.S. under anything close to equivalency of terms and fairness. They honestly have zero comprehension of free and fair trade, they know only advantages. That combined with their communist mentality explains their extreme position.

They're communists! They're mercantilists. They have zero comprehension of free trade. And it shows over and over and over and over. The task of teaching communists the principles of free trade is massive. Yet that is what Trump is doing.

Before Nixon, China characterized American politicians as "running yellow dogs" now in their print they characterize Trump administration as a whiney woman or spoiled child. 撒娇, sājiāo, adult who throws child-like tantrums. That's the best Chinese communists can do. Lord knows it's not possible for communists to consider being fair. That flatly does not compute. Compared with the things that China says about us, what Trump says about China is the height of tactful diplomacy. Thus Wallace cannot quite internalize why Trump calls Xi Jinping "friend." Navarro must carefully explain international diplomacy to the hapless hopeless pinched puppet face dope.

If you haven't yet cut cable, you're doing yourself a disservice. You can get all this crap for free on YouTube.

The IP theft will never stop. Chinese business doesn’t believe in it. They believe in trade secrecy which is the default setting for Intellectual Property. Repeat, Chinese business does not believe in patents and trademarks.

The Chicoms are monsters who "harvest" prisoners' organs. Among other horrors. Our government, if it represented us, would be unbending in its stance toward China. But it doesn't so it isn't.

Chris Wallace is really annoying.

He's a reliable swamp idiot mouthpiece. He's always looks so pleased with himself, like he's so clever. WHY did Fox let him sub in and take over after Tony Snow died?
His entre into high journalism society (ie., the communications sewer) was his Dad who, as some may be aware, actually got caught saying horrible racist stuff. HAHA!
When dealing with these toads, you have to remember that they're always fronting.
Always. And usually they're projecting at the same time. That takes up a lot of brain activity which is why logic and common sense are so rare.

Sometimes I watch Fox in the morning at the gym. It's so funny, the look on his puss, when he has to interact with the Fox & Friends people who are so cheerfully rightwing. I have come close to falling off the stairclimber lol-ing during these events. Dangerous!
