Ok, I just need to know... How does holding up your hand cause the person on the other end of a radio message to stop broadcasting? Or did the radioman just turn the volume down when the radio message started coming through and the leader held up his hand? Have they heard of earbuds?

I'm setting aside the oddity of wearing camo gear with vegetation inserted into your helmet; while another member of your squad dons a white cap. I'm all for recognizing religious habits on the battlefield, such as celebrating Christmas as well as regularly sharing the Eucharist.

If you join the British Army you can pose in a brooding and diverse and tolerant manner against a magnificent mountainous backdrop.
If you join the American Army you get to slide down a rope, kick ass and take names.
I didn't have the sound on but I assume the respective soundtracks reflect this as well.

Also: In the British Army ad, did anyone else think that there was someone approaching from the nearby hill while they were all laying around tolerantly waiting for Muslim Man to finish his ablutions and prayers? Maybe it's my increasingly shitty eyesight but I kept hoping someone was on point.
