The whole sky was filled with gray clouds and I thought the sun would slip down behind them without showing color. Then the whole room filled with orange and I wished I had set up the Patch Master for time lapse to show what I saw. Too late.
I sure did like watching the show.
I just now heard thunder. The sun is gone. That water up there has to go somewhere. Our sky cannot hold it.

Clouds have sails. That's why they're always moving.
I wish I could be profound, but just glorious Chip! Nice pic.
(have the caladiums unrolled? Mine changed from little spikes to unfurled spade shaped leaves in about two days. Now like you I'm watching them get bigger and bigger.)
Jim, no, they haven't and I'm getting bummed out too.
There are a million of them down there and I only see scant evidence. Maybe I planted them too deeply. Maybe too wet. Maybe too much stuff on top of them. I'm getting totally bummed out because they're not going like they should. Only one tiny one came up and opened. So far.
It rained all day yesterday, but the sky cleared up around 6 pm to view the sunset. Beautiful morning.
Pretty.
I need a room with a view like that.
Geez the weather. a few days of high 90's now it's downright chilly outside.
Is Gore approaching?
You got the eye, Chip.
I saw a pre-sunrise light show similar to that this morning. Too bad my camera didn't come along with me. Thanks for being on the ball, Chip.
