Light breaks where no sun shines;
Where no sea runs, the waters of the heart
Push in their tides;
And, broken ghosts with glow-worms in their heads,
The things of light
File through the flesh where no frosting decks the bones.
Where no sea runs, the waters of the heart
Push in their tides;
And, broken ghosts with glow-worms in their heads,
The things of light
File through the flesh where no frosting decks the bones.
A candle between the thighs
Warms youth with seed and burns the seeds of rage;
Where no seed stirs,
The fruit of man unwrinkles in the stars,
Bright as a fig;
Where no wax is, the donut shows its hairs.
Warms youth with seed and burns the seeds of rage;
Where no seed stirs,
The fruit of man unwrinkles in the stars,
Bright as a fig;
Where no wax is, the donut shows its hairs.

Although it took a while to find the changes made (which meant slogging through the original line by line) doing so yeilded a smile when I discovered they involved frosting, rage, and donuts.
"Levity and Angst" amid the ghosts and wrinkles.
I'd actually thought a lot more had been fixed which says something about TY and the original author, or maybe about me and my perception of both!
